“The Empress and the ring”
Once there was an Emperor whose
wife/Empress was dead and wanted to
marry again. So he travelled through all
kingdoms to find her, and everywhere
things went wrong.

There were Empresses aplenty, but

how was he to know whether they were
real Empresses? There was something not
quite right about them all.

So he came home again unhappy,

because he did so want to have a real
Empress.
One evening a terrible storm blew
up. It lightninged and thundered and
rained. It was really frightful. A maid heard
Few knocks on the door the maid opened
it and saw a lady cold and wet outside, the
maid invited her in.

The next morning the maid

introduced the lady to the Emperor and
the Emperor was amazed for her beauty
and wanted to marry her. But the
Emperor’s mother disagreed.

The Emperor made a deal to his

mother that “You must order the castle’s
maids to put many foam for her bed
tonight in the next morning ask her that
did she slept peacefully last night” the
Emperor said. Of course his mother
agreed.

His mother did what the he made

her to do. The Emperor’s mother told the
lady to sleep at the top of many foam
when the Emperor’s mother left the room
and went to bed, The Emperor went in the
lady’s room and put a small case for a ring
below one of the foam and he went to bed
to sleep.

The next morning quickly the

Emperor’s mother call the lady quickly also
the lady came down the Emperor’s
motherask her what his son told her “Did
you slept well my dear?” the lady replied
“no, I didn’t” that’s why she immediately
told his son, she didn’t know that his son
was already awake and ask her what’s her
answer my dear mother? The Emperor ask.
My son her answer is “No, she
didn’t”Emperor’s mother replied.

Then the Emperor ran to the lady’s

room gave her a rose and take the small
little case below one of the foam of the
lady’s bed and said to her “Will you marry
me?” and the lady replied with a “Yes” and
they got married and for the ring it is
always in the ring finger of the new
Empress.
