Checklist For Process Engineering Deliverables

The document provides a checklist for process engineering deliverables, specifically focusing on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs). It lists key items that should be included on PIDs such as properly formatted title blocks with correct project information, labeled pipe sizes and locations where pipe sizes change, and indicators for pipe insulation. Reducers and expanders should be drawn for pipe size changes and in-line equipment connections.

line equipment such as tanks / vessels / heat exchangers / column nozzle sizes? If
nozzle sizes are not available does the P&ID still show the reducer / expander with
the unknown size shown as XX? Examples:

6” x 4” 6” x xx” 6” x 4” 6” x xx”
(Reducer) (Reducer) (Expander) (Expander)

c. Are reducers / expanders shown for line size reduction and expansion and for in-
line instruments (control valves, flow meters, analytical instruments etc.) If
nozzle sizes are not available does the P&ID still show the reducer / expander with
