This Software updates the Firmware of Toshiba 32GB USB3.0 Drive


(TransMemory-EX; V3O-032GT, THNV32OSU3(BL7, UX-A032GT) below.

Below products need firmware update:


V3O-032GT
THNV32OSU3(BL7
UX-A032GT
(TransMemory-EX 32GB)

This software does not apply to other than above Toshiba USB Drives.

Below products do NOT need firmware update:


V3O-064GT
THNV64OSU3(BL7
UX-A064GT
(TransMemory-EX 64GB)

Please carefully read and follow below procedure to update the firmware on your
TransMemory-EX 32GB.

Required OS:
Windows XP or
Windows Vista / 32-bit & 64-bit or
Windows 7 / 32-bit & 64-bit
File System for USB drive:
FAT32

1. Plug one TransMemory-EX 32GB in the PC’s USB2.0 port.


Connect via USB 2.0 extension cable or USB 2.0 hub if you use USB 3.0 port.
Never plug any other storage device on the PC’s USB port while running this
software.
Never plug multiple drives in the PC’s USB ports.
Be sure to connect AC power cable to the PC before running this tool.

2. Double click “Toshiba Update Tool_V1.5”. Below window will appear.

3. Click “Yes” button. The Tool starts updating the firmware and the progress bar shows the
update status. Never plug off the Drive until new window appears. Never power-off or
restart the PC during executing the file. Disable the PC’s power-save mode to prevent
the PC from Shutdown, Sleep or Hibernate.

4. Once successfully update the new firmware, unplug the TransMemory-EX 32GB.

If you plug the TransMemory-EX 32GB in the PC’s USB 3.0 port, below message might be appeared.
Please plug the drive in the PC’s USB 2.0 port or connect the drive via USB 2.0 extension cable or
USB 2.0 hub and retry.

If you plug wrong USB drive other than TransMemory-EX 32GB, below window will be appeared.
Please plug TransMemory-EX 32GB correctly.

5. The USB Drive appears after re-plug in PC’s USB 2.0/3.0 ports.
