Overview: Steel - Concrete Composite Structures (SCCS) : Syllabus

This document outlines a syllabus for a course on Steel-Concrete Composite Structures (SCCS). The course is a 5-credit optional discipline offered in the 2nd semester of the 4th year to civil engineering students. It will introduce students to composite construction methods for buildings, including composite columns, beams, floors, and modeling/design software. Over 14 weeks, students will attend 2 lecture hours and 2 application hours per week, totaling 130 hours including 28 lecture hours, 28 application hours, and 74 hours of individual study. Upon completing the course, students will be able to design composite structural elements, select composite construction products, and prepare design documentation for composite buildings.
