Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) According To ASME IX Hassan Hussien

1) This document qualifies welder Hassan Hussien to perform welds according to procedure SAILO-01/2017 for the Sokhna Fertilizer Complex project in Egypt. 2) The welder was qualified using the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process in the 2G, 3G welding positions with a filler metal E7018 on steel plates of grade S 355JR with a minimum thickness of 15mm. 3) The welder passed visual and bend tests to be qualified for unlimited thickness welds in all positions on plate and pipe over 24 inches in diameter.
