 The FamiLee Network / Information Builders: Attended the WebFOCUS “Boot Camp” training at Information
Builders, Inc. (IBI) in NYC HQ, at my own expense.
 I completed this two week onsite Boot Camp, as Best in Class (highest grade) with the highest recommendations
for superior contracts.
 GMAC Insurance: WebFOCUS consultant, contract to hire:
 Created several reports to track and verify insurance analytics.
 Created application to transfer data from point to point using JCL with complete validation for over 30 states.
 Provided scheduled and on-call support for user community and programming staff.
 Wachovia Bank/Y2K: WebFOCUS consultant. Modify reports and application to Y2K standards
 Designed, created, and implemented automated system, which reduced processing time by 85%.
 Converted and integrated various applications including new automated applications using WebFOCUS.
 TFN: Designed, coded, and implemented various websites viewable from www.TheFamiLee.net and associates.
 Medical Billing Services: Supported staff and associated computing resources for billing application.
 Computer Dynamics / Wright & CO Insurance: Enhanced the user interface to automate direct billing from the
source screen by seamlessly integrating a new set of modules which allowed for the direct transfer of data from one
application area to the final billing application.
 IBM Systems Engineer at Computer Dynamics: Installed IBM Mainframe computers remotely for the US Postal
Service and trained the users in the basics of mainframe computing and PROFS and the US Postal Service Center
engineers on the complete process of remote installation and customization including software cloning from an
existing mainframe to a newly installed mainframe and the automated customization of peripherals attached to the
mainframes.
 Grumman Aerospace / Data Systems: Created a complete mainframe based application, with full screen user
interface and simultaneous user functionality for the tracking of all hardware related information resources. This was
in fulfillment of the Defense Contract Audit Agency request to produce a Proof Of Concept (POC) within one year
which would track all information resources in the possession of Grumman Aerospace and Grumman Data Systems,
using Information Builders FOCUS. This application was later plagiarized to create an application to track all software
used within the company.
 This application included a full user interface for complete Add, Delete, Modify, View functionality and a complete
full screen user interface with selection criteria for report generation.
 This application was seamlessly accessed from the users mainframe sign on to their sign off and displayed the
main menu. The main menu provided the options to all database and reporting functions, access the command
prompting of either CMS or FOCUS, or to exit the user's CMS session.
 I attended every course which Information Builders offered, including their Top Gun course at IBI's corporate
headquarters in New York City, in order to learn the full capabilities and power of FOCUS well enough to design,
develop, and present a fully functional application in fulfilment of this request for the Defense Contract Audit
Agency three months earlier than the request the POC.
 This was the start of my FOCUS / WebFOCUS career.
 Applied Digital Data Systems: Worked with Intel corporation on the development of a mainframe system to compete
with the IBM mainframes as a prototype engineer.
 United States Navy: Nuclear Weapons Launch Technician aboard the USS Simon Bolivar SSB(N) 641.
 Supported the national defense initiatives while protecting America's freedom during the Vietnam Era.
