B) SUBSTRUCTURE:

method and by approved computer software.
5) Columns and shear wall layout showing reactions

load)
6) Detailed design calculations for proposed
foundation, including columns and shear walls,
as well as basement retaining walls, at
foundation level.
7) Schedule of columns with reinforcement and
sizes and sections.
8) Structural framing (Schematic design) for all
floors showing the assumed sizes of structural
elements.
9) An electronic copy of the structural 3D model for
the lateral stability analysis. The study should
include all structural elements and all the applied
loads.
10) Wind tunnel study if required.
11) Piling plan as applicable, showing the reactions
from the most critical load combinations (Service
loads).
12) Brief specifications and applicable notes for the
foundation & piles, presented on drawings.
13) Pile design by specialist and approved by the
consultant.

C) SUPER STRUCTURE:

7) Plans, sections and details of swimming pools,
reinforced concrete water tanks, and significant
architectural features.
8) Plan & section for staircases showing all
dimensions and steel reinforcement.
NOTE: COMPLETE DESIGN PACKAGE:
The consultant may choose to make a final and complete submittal at one time. However,
the Directorate prefers that he makes preliminary design submittals at various significant
stages, and discusses the design philosophy and design criteria before preparing final
drawings, in order to avoid any dispute in the future.
