1. Bandung City
Bandung City, the Capital of West Java
Province, Indonesia is one of propelling city in

Indonesia with 8.5 economic growths. With only 120

kilometers from Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta,

Bandung has promising potential to be one of

Indonesia’s city-model in the upcoming years. The

city has 2.5 Million inhabitants with 60% of them is

below 40 years old, which shaped Bandung as

young and dynamic city. The city is surrounded by

mountains, providing nice weather all year long and

beautiful view, it makes Bandung a city that is very

comfort for live, work, and play.


2. Mayor of Bandung
Mayor Ridwan Kamil, one Indonesia brightest talent
and prominent leader was elected as Bandung City Mayor since

2013. He is an Architect by training, graduated from Institut

Teknologi Bandung and UC Berkeley, had more than 10 years

working in global firm, and also a community leader.

He is known as the founder of Bandung Creative City Forum,

International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year from British

Council Indonesia in 2006 and won various prestigious awards.

Mayor Ridwan Kamil is promoting clean and effective government

as part of his commitment to deliver his best for his beloved city,

Bandung. Moreover, he aimed ambitious development plan in city

infrastructure and basic need to bring Bandung to be livable and

loveable city in the future.


3. Bandung LRT
Light Rail Train is an urgent solution
to tackle Bandung City Urban
Transportation Issue. The Project 1st
and 2nd phase will consist of 10 and
20 kilometers of lines.

The Government pursue for a PPP


approach of investment. However,
other scheme also open for
discussion. Currently, there are pre-
feasibility study has been done by
the government.

4A. Scenarios on Each Corridor
• Scenario 1 (S1) - The condition of transportation
without revamping
• Scenario 2 (S2) - The condition of the
transportation network restructuring public
transport services
• Both scenarios were analyzed for the following
rates:
– Corridor 1 (ATL 3.70 km) - K1: Rate IDR 6000, -
– Corridor 2 (ATL 8,30 km):
• K2A: Rate IDR 7.500,-
• K2B: Rate IDR 12.500,-
