www .buziol.pl DOCUMENT AUTHOR:
AT FIRST - BEFORE ALL

Hi dudes!

Welcome to the unofficial instruction manual of Mario Forever. In

this printable document you can learn the basics and advanced
techniques usable in this game. You should read this carefully if
you want to learn some technical and background information -
if you’re either a newbie or a Mario veteran, too.

This game was created by Buziol Games Software. What

does this mean? At first I must say that BGS is not
affiliated by Nintendo. Nintendo has officially rights to use
Mario in their games, which appear only in their consoles. There are
lots of Mario platform games for PC - which are called Mario clones.
These are unofficial, unless the developer(s) want to pay for an
expensive Nintendo license. And others blabla. :) Summa summarum:
Mario Forever isn’t official. So don’t look for walkthrough at official sites
that usually have game faqs. :D

Unlike most of other Mario clones, this game was developed by only one person.
Michael Barnaba ‘Buziol’ Gdaniec was working on it because game making was his hobby.
Buziol Games Software was founded in 2001 by creating Ninja Jonder (aka Ninja with the
Real Balls! in polish) and he published his best creations on some polish sites. His games
were very popular in his home country, Poland.

In 2002, BGS was working (and publishing) on

this game, Mario Forever, which was an instant
hit. Buziol has been working and removing the
glitches until he finished the version 2.16 in
2004, he added a new secret world. Everyone
thought that version is the final version of this
game, until fall of 2005. Buziol Games Software
released (in doubt, unexpectedly) the 3.0
version of MF (with the toolbar). The latest
version, v3.51 has appeared in February of
2006, with newer secret worlds and an older
mini-game which was released before,
separately.

Now Mario Forever is BGS’s best and most

popular freeware game up to date.
Nice work!

I would like to say that I want to give the most info available about Mario Forever’s gameplay.
If you want to do something with it, add, remove, translate, or alter it, just contact me.

HEY DUDES WHAT HAPPENED?

Once upon a time, faraway from here,

there was a vast, beautiful kingdom
where mushroom people built their
mushroom houses, and they lived
peacefully, without enemies in sight. This
was Mushroom Kingdom.

This day was just like any other day, until

something happened....

4
TI NUED
CON

....something terrible! King Bowser Koopa

and the Koopa Troop attacked the
Mushroom Kingdom and destroyed it! And
Bowser enslaved the peaceful Mushroom
People. This could be the doomsday of this
beautiful land. Only a miracle could save
the kingdom.

Fortunately, the kingdom had a small army

to counterattack...

5
TI NUED
CON
And this army, just like the BGS
developer group, consits of only one
person: Mario. Yes, the jumping plumber.
He could not sit at home, watching
Bowser’s attack against the weaking
Mushroom Kingdom. He had to do
something....

to stop it!

6
TO MAKE IT WORK

7
TO PLAY THIS PERFECTLY

This is a 2D game, and it doesn’t use real-time rendered 3D models or something. So you
don’t need a high-end workstation to play this. A PC from ‘98/‘99/2000 will be really, really
enough to play.

Hardware needed:
! Without electric power your computer won’t work :)
! Power supply, this should be
built-in to the computer. :)
! Motherboard, this should be
built-in too :)
! At least a Pentium II-
compatible processor at the
speed of 300MHz or better.
! 64MB or more RAM.
! Windows compatible
soundcard
! Hard disk with at least 30 MB
free space.
! Video card with 16MB video
RAM.
! Something that lets you
connect to the Internet (from
a modem to a broadband
adapter, anything)
! Cords to connect these stuff
:)

Software
! Microsoft Windows 98Se or
newer Win. Linux users will
need Wine to play this.
! DirectX8 or better
! Internet Explorer
! A set-up internet connection

8
I WANNA GET THIS!

Dude, if you don’t know how to use the Internet, but you want to play, you will
need to read this. If you have collected Mario Forever already, you can skip this
section. For this you need a set-up Internet connection. I’ll show the default
example.

! Make sure you have connected to the

internet.
! Open Internet Explorer and type
”www.buziol.pl” into the Address bar, without
the quotes.
! Click on the BGS logo to enter the site.
! On the navigation bar, click on the “Our
Games” icon.
! You will see a list of games. Click on “Mario
Forever”.
! A new Internet Explorer
window appears on the
screen. Click on
“Download Now!” there.
! Click on “Save” on the recently
appeared window.
! Choose a location where do you
want to download the file and click
“Save”. Remember which directory
did you choose.
! Wait patiently until the download
progress is complete, 100%.

Congratulations! You have just

downloaded Mario Forever!

9
LET’S-A OPEN THE PACKAGE!

So you have downloaded Mario Forever, but to play it, you need
to install into the Windows. So let us open the package you
have just downloaded from the BGS website.

! From My Computer, open the folder where you saved

Mario Forever from the Internet. (That’s the reason I
said you need to remember which folder did you
choose.)
! Double click onto Mario_Forever.exe to start the Setup.
! Wait until you can see the Introduction screen. Click on
the ‘Next’ button to carry on.
! In v3.51 you must install the Mario Forever Toolbar.
This is an Internet Explorer toolbar, that can search
on the Internet and block pop-up windows. I will
explain this thing on page ---. Tick both boxes and
click the ‘Next’ button to go the next screen.
! Read the License Agreement of Mario
Forever and MF Toolbar. If you understood,
and accept all conditions, tick the check box
and click ‘Next’. The Setup will install the
Mario Forever Toolbar.
! On this screen, you can see which folder
will Mario Forever be installed. If you don’t
want it to be installed into the ‘C:\Program
Files\Mario Forever’ folder, you
can click Browse to choose
another folder, or edit the path
directly. Click on ’Next’. The
Setup will Install Mario Forever
now.
! This is the last screen. Press
‘Finish’ to end the installation and
run the game. You can run the
game by double clicking the
Mario Forever icon on the
Windows desktop, too.

10
JUST BEFORE THE REAL DEAL

Let’s a play! How to start the game you’ve just installed?

This can be easily done by double clicking on the Mario
Forever icon on the Windows desktop. If you have an
active Internet connection, the first screen shows the
news of Buziol Games Software (BGS) products and
others. When “Press Enter to start the game” appears, do
that.

On this screen, you can choose between

window and full-screen mode. In window
mode, you can play the game in window. In
full-screen mode you can play on full-screen,
of course. To choose one, highlight one and
press Enter.

Go enjoy the Buziol Games Software logo

sequence. :)

Then the Mario Forever title screen appears with the main menu.

You can choose between

three options.
! Start - Start the
game, taking Mario
into the Select
Game zone.
! Options - Set the
configurations of
the game.
! Quit - Exit the
game. The game
asks you if you’d
like to go to the
BGS website
(www.buziol.pl).

11
YOU DON’T LIKE THIS CONFIG? CHANGE IT!

To get there, choose Options from Main menu.

Here you can change these settings using the arrow keys.:
! Music: You can turn the music on and off.
! Effects: You can turn the visual effects on and off, just like the music.
! XScroll: There are two different scrolls in the game. With XScroll off, Mario will run
on the center of the screen. With XScroll on, Mario runs near to the side of the
screen, looking farther ahead. On some places, it is better with Xscroll, and on other
places it’s not.
! Controls: You can choose between two different control types: You can use your
joypad to play, or the keyboard. For the joypad, it should be at USB, least 4-axis 2-
buttons. You can edit the keyboard controls, just highlight Controls and press Enter.
! Credits: Press Enter for a short list of staff ;)
! Exit: Press Enter to go back to the main menu.

WHAT DO I PRESS TO...

To get here, highlight ‘Controls’ in the ‘Options’ menu and press Enter.

Here you can change Mario’s keyboard controls. How?

! Highlight the control that you want to change.
! Press Enter.
! Press the desired key that you want to change the control.

These are the default controls:

Up: Up arrow
Down: Down arrow
Left: Left arrow
Right: Right arrow
Jump: Z
Fire/Run: X
Other keys usable in game: ESC - go back to the main menu, P - pause.

12
Choose Exit to get outta here.
SOME PARTICLES FROM MARIO...

13
LET’S-A JUMP! LET’S-A GO!

So, you want to play as Mario? To play, you have to advance to the goal of the level within
the time limit, collecting items and killing enemies in a side scrolling environment. You will
see the scene from the side, and you control Mario from there. The screen can scroll to the
left and the right. Most worlds have four levels, and most of them have a castle at the end
Mario must pass through. At the end of each castle you must fight Bowser... or one of his
clones? Anyway... complete the special challenges that await our hero!

As any Mario:
Move around: You can walk using the arrow keys. That’s obvious, you gotta
move. This is one of the basic controls you must learn. You can move even in
mid-air and in water.
Jumping: This is Mario’s another basic move besides the movement, with it you
can hit blocks, reach high places, get over holes in the ground, and at last,
but not at least, kill the enemies. Use the Jump key (Z) to do it. If you
longer hold the Jump key, Mario will jump higher. Or when you jump on an
enemy, hold the Jump key to make mario bounce higher.
Running: Hold down Fire/Run (X) and move around, with it Mario will walk faster
and jump really high and far, crossing over even wider pits. Also, you can run
over small holes with it.
Going into pipes: Mario mainly uses warp pipes for transportation. Just go in and
you’ll emerge in another place, even in a bonus area. Some pipes cannot be
entered. To go into a ground pipe, stand on it and press Down. To go into a
ceiling pipe stand under it, hold Up arrow and jump hitting it just like it would be
a large block. To go into a sideways pipe, just walk into it.
Swimming: In water use the Jump (Z) key to swim upward. If you press Jump
(Z) repeatedly, you’ll go higher and higher and you can even jump outta water!
As Super Mario or better:
Break brick blocks: Hit a brick from below to break it as big Mario.
Crouch: Press and hold Down to crouch. Useful when avoiding Bullet Bills as big
Mario. Crouch during running for a power slide.
As Fire or Beetroot Mario:
Throw projectiles: Press Fire/Run key (X) to throw fireballs or beetroots.

TI NUED
CON

After you choose Start from the main menu, you can
see Mario entering the Select Game Zone via a
warp pipe. In this area you can prepare yourself to
the adventure, and choose from several game
types.

Where you emerge (Mario Forever Worlds) you can

see three pipes. These are three different save
slots. You can go down a pipe to enter the normal
game. Your gaming progress will be saved to the
chosen slot. If you want to erase a slot stand on its
entrance pipe and hold the ‘Delete’ or ‘Del’ key for
three seconds.

Go left to find the Mario Minix mini-game entrance

pipe, your Minix highest score and the latest score
you did in this mini-game. (Explained on page 26)

Go right from Mario Forever Worlds to get to the

Goodie shop area. You can choose between two
power-ups: the mushroom for one life and fire-
flower for two lives. If these two lives could be
retrieved . . . Use the rightmost solid blocks to get
to the next area.

If you have unlocked the Hardcore Worlds

(explained on page 25), their entrance pipes appear
here. Advance to the right.

The last pipe in the zone, with the question mark

leads to the Human lab (explained on page 25)

The pipe behind the wall next to Human Lab cannot

be accessed, don’t bother it.

Any pipe can be entered, jump on its top and press Down.

15
TI NUED
CON

After you have entered one of the pipes in the Mario Forever
Worlds area in the Select game zone, and watched the intro
sequence (this happens when you first use a blank slot), you
will find yourself on the map of World 1. This looks like it would
be the levels’ overview. You can enter a level using the Jump
(Z) key. Completing a level makes Mario walk to the overview
of the next level. To make Mario walk faster, use the fire/run (X)
key while he’s walking. If you completed a World 1, you’ll go to
World 2 etc. The game saves automatically when you begin a
world, that means if you exit the game and enter using the same pipe, you’ll go back to the
beginning of the same world where you left off.

BLOCKS
The blocks you can see in the game, can be hit from below by jumping. If hit, an item
emerges from the block. Mario can walk on the top of the blocks.

Brick block 50pts.: There are multiple types of brick blocks, they all look alike. The
first type can be broken by hitting below as Super Mario or better, or using
beetroots as Beetroot Mario. The second type contains multiple coins, you need to
hit it repeatedly until it becomes an used block.

Prize block: Hit it once and collect its contents. It can contain a coin, power-up, 1-
up mushroom or poison mushroom. After hit it becomes an used block. Also look
for the invisible blocks at the suspected places that become used when hit. Those
can hold valuable stuff!

POWER-UPS AND ITEMS

You start off as small (regular) Mario, but there are several power-ups in the game. With
them you can increase Mario’s power against the enemies. Also there are other items that
help Mario in his quest .If you clear a level, you will carry your power-up to the next level.
Super Mushroom 1000pts.
Collect the mushroom to transform regular Mario to Super (big) Mario. Mario will
double his size, and get ability to destroy bricks from below and crouch to avoid
enemies. If an enemy hits you, you will become regular Mario again. (2 hits to die)

Fire Flower 1000pts.

Collect this as big Mario and you get ability to throw bouncing fireballs using the
Fire/Run (X) key, as Fire Mario. With these you can kill some enemies. And if you get
hit you’ll stay as Super Mario. (3 hits to die)

Giant Beetroot 1000pts.

Collect this as big to get power to throw beetroots using the Fire/Run (X) key, as
Beetroot Mario. These bounce three times and fly away. With it you can destroy
enemies and hit brick blocks using this projectile. You stay as Super Mario when you
get hit. (3 hits to die)

Green Jumpin’ Lui 1000pts.

Collect this rare item to make Mario jump higher and run faster as Green Mario. If an
enemy hits you, you become Super Mario. (3 hits to die)

Starman
Collect the bouncing star and you can destroy enemies by simply running into them.
It lasts for a short while. If its music fades out, it’s going to end. (Temporary)

TI NUED
CON
POWER-UPS AND ITEMS CONTINUED
Coin 200pts.
This is hidden inside blocks, or can be standalone. Collect 100 of it for an extra life.

1-up mushroom
Collect it for an extra life. Most often found in invisible blocks.

Poison mushroom
Preferably the best item of ‘em all! Touch it to die! :D

Springboards
Press the Jump (Z) key when you land on the springboard to do a super high jump.

HOW TO KILL AN ENEMY

! Hit the block it’s standing on. It can be either a brick block or a prize
block, but not an used or solid block. It doesn’t matter if you are small
or big.
! Jump on it. That is Mario’s No.1 attacking move. Some
advanced enemies cannot be jumped on. But most of them
are weak to Mario’s hard shoes.

! Jump on a koopa shell and kick it to the other

enemies.
! As Fire or Beetroot Mario you can kill
enemies using fireballs or beetroots. Beetroots don’t work in water.

! Get the star and do your dash&bash! ;)

18
TI NUED
CON
BEWARE THE FOLLOWING ARE DEADLY!
You’d better watch out the bad guys listed on the next pages. If you can’t handle them
enough well, it can result a loss of a life. If you lose all lives you’ll get GAME OVER and will
be sent to the main menu. You can restart the game at the beginning of the world where you
died.

If you don’t want to get hit, then:

L Don’t let enemies bump into you.
L Don’t let enemies fall onto you.
L Don’t touch the Hammer Bros. hammers.
L Don’t touch fireballs that are not yours.
L Don’t touch Spinies, or Piranha Plants.
L Don’t let koopa shells ricochet back to you.
L Don’t touch any enemy in water.
L Don’t let Bowser burn you.
L Don’t touch Bowser when he’s flashing.

Side note: If you get hit as Super Mario, you’ll revert to small Mario, and if you get hit as Fire,
Beetroot or Green Mario, you’ll revert to Super Mario. After the hit you’ll flash for a very short
while, during this time you’re invulnerable.

If you don’t want to get killed instantly then:

N Don’t fall into bottomless holes in the ground.
N Don’t fall into lava pits.
N Don’t stay too long on falling platforms.
N Don’t touch spikes.
N Don’t touch poison mushrooms.
N Don’t let the countdown timer hit zero. (Do reach the goal
in time.)
N Don’t get pushed to the left of the screen when it’s
autoscrolling.

Just follow this advice and you can get through the game easily. :D

Easy to say...

ENEMIES aka the Members of Bowser’s Armies

Goomba 100pts.
This is the most common enemy in the game. You can kill him by jumping on
him, just like any other attacks. He resembles to a walking brown mushroom.

Koopa Troopa (Turtle) 100pts.

There are three different versions of this common enemy: the green, the red and
the flying one. The green version walks slowly, and he goes off ledges. The red
one is more faster, and he goes back and forth on he ledges. If you stomp
either, it retreats into his shell and stops moving, then he can be kicked to other
enemies to kill them. The winged one (Paratroopa) flies up and down. Stomp
that and he loses his wings, and begins to act like a green troopa. For other
attacks he’s dead.

Hammer Bros. (Hammer turtle) 200pts.

One of the more dangerous turtles. It is throwing deadly hammers into your
face which isn’t good. The best way to get rid of him is to punch the block
he’s standing on, or giving him a fireball or beetroot from a distance. But it is
possible to jump on its head.

Spiny (Thornbeast) 100pts.

This red turtle is fully covered by spikes, preventing you from jumping on
him. Lakitu loves to drop them. There are two versions of this enemy: The
common red one can be killed by fireballs, while the rare gray one, that likes
castles, cannot.

Lakitu (Spiked cloud) 100pts.

He’s a very annoying enemy. He’s riding a cloud high up in the sky, and
drops Spinies onto the ground. He can be killed by jumping on his head, but
he returns after 5 seconds.

Cheep-Cheep (Piranha) 100pts.

The fish enemies are frequently encountered in water. Some of them are
swimming forward ignoring Mario, others are chasing him, while wilder ones
try to leap into him. The red and green ones can be killed by a fireball.

Bullet Bill 100pts.

If you see a blaster with a skull on it, you’ll know Bullet Bills are coming out of
it. Bill is the large black bullet with a face and arms. You can jump off it and
stand on his blaster without hurt. Use this to your advantage in later levels.

20
TI NUED
CON

ENEMIES CONTINUED
Piranha Plant (Pipe Piranha) 100pts.
This dangerous plant lives in watery places, like pipes. You cannot jump on it if
you don’t want it to bite you at your butt. Fireballs can roast him into death. There
is a red version which spits fireballs. The standalone versions that live outside
pipes, cannot be destroyed.

Podoboo
This enemy can be found in castles most often, and it acts like an obstacle. It
jumps out of lava and tries to hit Mario. This enemy cannot be destroyed.

Rotodisc
This flashing enemy is circling or doing weird flower shapes around its orb. It is
placed often into Mario’s path to make things harder. This cannot be destroyed,
but you can stand on its central orb without hurt.

Bowser, King of the Koopas (King Koopa)

He’s big. He’s mean. He’s the worst. He’s Bowser. He’s the leader of
the Koopa Troop and the final enemy of the game. He sent out his
clones as guardians for each castle and Mario must face them all.
Nearing the final world the clones will come up with new tricks to
make the battle tougher. He can spit fire and do other stuff that you
need to figure out.

How to fight him? You first look at Bowser’s life meter, which appears
under the countdown timer. In the level 1-4, for example, he requires five
hits to be defeated. You can make him lose a life point by jumping on his head as any Mario,
or throwing five fireballs at him as Fire Mario. After hit, Bowser will be invincible for a short
while, when he’s blinking. Don’t touch him in this state. If Bowser loses all life points he falls
into the lava below. Then you get the time bonus, after that you will advance to the next
world, saving your progress.

There are more enemies in the game...

21
TI NUED
CON

HOW TO GET LIVES

So you lost some lives? But you want to get them back? It is possible
to get lives in Mario Forever, in four different ways.
! The easiest way to get a 1-up by collecting a 1-up
mushroom. 1-up mushrooms are well hidden, in invisible
blocks, and some of them appear only once in the level.
! The other easy way is to collect coins. You need to collect 100 coins to
get a life. Coins are easy to find in levels, stand alone, or in blocks.
There are lots of bonus areas that contain a lot of them. You can carry
your coins to the next level.
! A bit harder one is the starman technique: get the starman power-up and
bash down the enemies. You will get 100pts for the first enemy you kill,
200pts for the second, 500pts for the third, 1000 for the fourth, 2000 pts for the fifth,
5000 points for the sixth, and a 1-up for the seventh. You’ll get a life after each
seventh enemy you kill with the starman power-up. Just make sure if its music is still
playing.
! The hardest one I’ll explain is the koopa shell technique: stomp on a
Koopa Troopa and kick its shell to the other enemies. It is similar to
the starman technique, but here the shell kills the enemies instead of
you. You can run after the shell, but beware: 1. you can run faster than
the shell can spin, 2. it can ricochet from anoher object, like a pipe,
and it can head towards you. It can hurt you. You can jump on it if it’s
spinning.

THE GOAL GATE

At the end of outdoors and cave levels, there is goal gate.
You must pass through the gate to clear the level. Also you
get an end-of-level score bonus. For the first bonus you need
to break the moving tape. Jump off from the arrow sign and
try to hit the tape. The higher you break the tape, the higher
the score you get. If you don’t break the tape you’ll get
100pts. The other score bonus you will receive is the timer
bonus. After you pass the goal gate the game multiplies your
time remaining with 10, and adds the number to your score.
You’ll go to the map screen, and the next level from there.

The goal gate doesn’t appear in Bowser’s castles.

22
WHERE AM I GOING...?

You know, Mario must trek through several worlds to reach the last Bowser. Each world has
four levels each, if not I’ll inform you. Let’s-a preview some of them! (More info on page 16)

World 1 Peaceful Plains

Mario starts his quest here. You
need to go on land, in caverns, over
mountains, and into Bowser’s first
castle. You need to learn the
controls fully to complete this world.
Good luck, this should be easy for you.

World 2 Lakeside Limbo

It’s a lake full of Cheep-Cheeps! Learn
to swim and dodge the fish enemies
inside and outside water. You need to
know that the fireballs don’t disappear
in water. Also Rotodiscs can appear in
some places. World 2 contains five levels

World 3 Nighttime Lights

Do you fear in the darkness? I hope
you don’t. Because here has become
night, the Hammer Bros. and Spinies
arrive to the scene, and you must get
out of the most dangerous darkness
ever not seen in moonlight.

World 4 Sky Scramble

It’s....Lakitu? Oh my gosh! You are high up in
the clouds. Some platforms are unstable, it
means they will fall when you step on it.
And if you fall back to the ground, it’s a
mean SPLAT! for you. So be careful in
here.

World 5 Cliffside Ride

A really large abyss is blocking
Mario’s path to Bowser’s world. The
best way to get over is to riding the
clouds. But Bowser doesn’t let you
surprise him, his armies built some
altilleries to attack you. Avoid the Bullet
Bills!
World 5 has three levels

World 6 Plumbers’ Paradise?

This place is full of pipes... Could this
be a pipe dream? No, it’s pipe
nightmare! Make sure you don’t get
lost in the complex mazes found here!
And there are lots of piranha plants of
all types! This is the world where you
can feel the road can last forever...

World 7 Summer Season

Welcome to the beach... on the sea?
Yup, Mario needs to cross the sea.
How? With the most traditional way:
swimming. Again, fight fish, raise and
lower the water, dodge rotodiscs, reach
the other side of the sea, and clear a
really hard castle to reach the last world.

World 8 Bowser’s Barricades

The last world is really dark... It’s the real Bowser’s world!
This is the world, where Bowser set up his armies and has
real challlenges for you. Can you clear it? At least you can
give up. But if you give up you won’t save the Mushroom
Kingdom.

How do Bowser’s last challenges look like? You need to

find it out yourself.

On the previous pages, you could see a short introduction of the normal Mario Forever
worlds. I’ve seen other platformer games that have one or two secret worlds, but this is the
only 2D Mario game which has 4 (yes, FOUR) secret worlds. Am I going to list them all? Yup,
but without spoilers. And I will say the ways how to access them.
NOTE! To get ability to access to a hardcore world you must unlock it. If you unlock Hardcore World 2, both
hardcore tubes will be open. If only Hardcore world 1 is only unlocked only its tube appears in the Hardcore
entrance area of Select game zone. (more on page 15).

HARDCORE World 1
Have you played through the game and it was easy? Then try this. This is the first
Hardcore world, that the best players can only pull off. Good luck, you need it.
UNLOCK: In 1-2, go past the ‘Hardcore zone is near’ sign and find the two floating
pipes. Imagine that the left one is upside down and go up on it.
ACCESS: Go to the Hardcore World Entrance area in the Select Game Zone (more:
page 15) and go down the hardcore 1 pipe.

HARDCORE World 2
Go here for even more hair-raising challenges. What makes things worse? New stuff that
really affects the game play. Expect more than million enemies. This can only be cleared by
the best player of the best players.

UNLOCK: Defeat Bowser in Hardcore 1-4.

ACCESS: Go to Hardcore World Entrance area in Select Game Zone (more page 15)
and go down the hardcore 2 pipe.

HUMAN LABORATORY World

Near to the Mushroom Kingdom a silo was built, where illegal human cloning experiments
were made. Later the silo has become abandoned by the “original” people and
the clones began to populate this place. Mario goes to the deep of the
abandoned silo to find things out.
ACCESS: Go to the far right of the Select Game Zone, and go down the pipe signed with a
question mark.

GOOMBA PARTY World

That was enough to the goombas that you always jump on their head, and in this level they
do their revenge.
ACCESS: In 1-3, do not die, be big, jump as few falling platforms as you can. Go to the goal where a cloud
is. Hit it, to reveal a beetroot power-up. Get it, and backtrack to a
pipe blocked with bricks. Destroy the bricks with roots and go
down on the tube.

LET’S KICK TURTLES!

In Mario Forever v3.51, you can find a bonus mini-game for pure
enjoyment, and for a challenge: who will be the best on the
Internet high score table. But before we would do anything, let
me explain the thing, okay?

To access the mini-game, go to the left from the Mario Forever

Worlds area in the Select Game Zone and go down the pipe
there. You will go to the Minix title screen. Press Enter to play!
The controls and moves are the same as in Mario Forever.

In Mario Minix your need to kill enemies and collect

coins for score. The enemies drop onto the screen from
above. In this mini-game there are three different
enemies: Goombas, Koopa Troopas and Spinies. If you
stomp a Goomba or Koopa Troopa you get 100pts. If
you collect a coin you get 200pts. If a pipe appears it
launches several coins. For more score kick a koopa
shell to the enemies and you will get nice combos!
Remember you have an one-hit safety, if you get two hits
you will be dead. If this happens, the Summary screen
will appear.

* I’ve deleted my score from the

SAFE AND EASY SURFING

The toolbar should be installed if you have installed Mario Forever. This is a plug-in of
Microsoft Internet Explorer, that can make your life easier in web surfing. Why?

Just type some keywords into this box, or - even - into the address bar and click Go to make
the toolbar search for them!

Make web surfing easier by blocking useless junkie pop-ups! The advertisements will fear
you!

This little thingy supports the hard work of Buziol Games Software! Make sure you’re using it
a lot!

This toolbar does not send any private information to the BGS site, because we don’t need it.
Use this toolbar, it doesn’t hurt your computer.

If you want to get a similar toolbar separate from Mario Forever (and any other game), go to
the Support page of Buziol Games Software Website and download the Buziol Games
Software Boosted Searchbar. Some of the other games contain similar toolbars.

You must search on the web with the toolbar three times, to make you able to disable it. To
uninstall the toolbar you must uninstall Mario Forever.

Read the End-User License Agreement for more info about this tool.

DUDES I GOT STUCK...

You got stuck in a level and don’t know how to get out of it? Or you need
some info? Cheats? Others? On the Buziol Games Website Forum we
have lots of categorized stuff. Just click on the Forum button on the
navigation bar and click ‘Mario Forever’ and feel free to browse our
information stuff about this game. The ‘Frequently asked questions’ and
‘Hard Jumps and Traps’ threads you must read first. Just click on either to
get some valuable info.

Or, you can use our Search ability. Click on Search button on the navigation
bar, choose ‘Forum Posts’, type some keywords into the box (like “1-4
jump”, “hardcore”, “bowser”, “6-2” without the quotes), and click Search.
Choose a thread from the list that appears.

Or searching doesn’t work, and you can’t find anything on Buziol Games Software Forum,
don’t worry. There’s another website for your help. In your web bowser type in this address:
http://groups.msn.com/MarioForever1 (Hoody’s Official Mario Forever MSN fan group).
Here you can see snapshots, helps and other stuff categorized by worlds and the game’s
version.

If you still cannot find the solution, feel free to create a thread on either board. But you need
to register to do that on either site. If you are already a member, you must not register again,
simply log in. You can make replies in other threads, like you can send the answer to other
members’ questions. But beware! All messages posted on the boards are HIGHLY
MODERATED! Read the Rules thread in the Announcements forum section on buziol.pl. If
you break these rules you’ll get warned or - even worse - BANNED from that site!

The BGS Website has these important members that are moderating the forum, comments,

WE ARE HAVING FUN ON THE SITE!

Click Our Online Games on the navigation bar to access our

online game list. You need Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and
the Clickteam Vitalize! browser plugin. Click on any game’s picture
and click ‘Install Vitalize!’ below the big box. You need to download
vtz3f.exe. After you have downloaded it install it. Then the games
should work in Internet Explorer. For other versions of the
Vitalize plugin, go to clickteam.com.

There are two Mario online games, also with others:

In Mario Forever: The Lost Map you have an another world to complete. Some neat new
challenges are waiting for you in the Lost World. The rules are the same as in Mario Forever.
The Lost World contains six levels.

Mario Minix is the same mini-game that’s included in

Mario Forever. Read page 26 for details about the game.
You can even send your score from the online game. It
is good to the ones who don’t want to download Mario
Forever but to play Minix mainly instead. At first IE can
ask you if you want to download an expansion pack for
Vitalize. Do that.

The controls of both games: Use the arrow keys to move around, Space to jump, Shift to
fire/run.
For full gaming experience, click into the game’s box after they started.

You know, that version 2.16 is the most popular version of Mario Forever.
That’s right, this was a very long while without updated. But everyone should

! The installer is smaller, only 14MB instead of 19MB.

! Search Toolbar in Internet Explorer.
! Window mode
! News screen
! New BGS logo sequence
! Polish language removed
! Changed credits
! Select game zone has changed due to the extras.
! Hardcore Worlds
! Goomba Party
! The Human Lab world got this name from this version.
! Mario Minix
! world 1-1: The 1-up mushroom was moved and the level is a bit
extended.
! world 1-2: Two new extra secret entrances, one for Hardcore 1.
! world 1-3: New brick blocked floating pipe (to Goomba party) and a
beetroot power-up at the end.
! world 3-4: The level is somewhat brighter, and one-block wide holes

AT LAST, BUT NOT AT LEAST

So I’ve completed this manual. Enjoy it. But before I complete it, I want to credit some people
that deserve it.

Thanks go to:
! Buziol (Admin_BGS, Buzg, Michael, Buziol_Games, Retrogradus), he created and
tested this game and the site. And he’s very talented. He and his games are
inspiring people to create games. But okay, some other people are jealous.
! Skell (Skell_Blackmind), who betatested the game wih Buziol.
! Hoody, because of his group and infos about Mario forever, like the changes from
v2.16. And for several other reasons.
! cfvmario, for his cheating tool. My work became easier.
! And the other members and admins of the BGS site and Hoody’s MF group, no
reason why... ;)
! You. Because you are reading this thing.
