Installing Forticlient VPN on Windows

1. Run the FortiClientOnlineInstaller.exe file you downloaded from the IT website

2. You must agree to the terms of the License Agreement if you want to use this software. Put a
check mark beside Yes and click Next.

3. Click VPN Only.

5. Click Install.

6. Click Finish.

Configure VPN
There are two VPN services available.

1. The SSL-VPN and


2. The IPSec-VPN.

Follow the instructions to configure and use the IPSec-VPN.


Open FortiClient VPN by double clicking on the FortiClient Icon on desktop. Click Configure VPN.

1. Setting up IPSec-VPN
Fill on the configuration as shown below. The Remote Gateway is 27.109.21.183 and select the
Authentication key and set the Pre-shared Key. 123456789. And click on advanced settings.

Set on the configuration Phase 1 & Phase 2 as shown below then click Apply to save the connection.

To log into VTV-HO., just enter your IT username and password, then click
Connect.

Once connected you should see a bubble below indicated you are connected.

If you click on the bubble, this windows will come up showing your connection. Click Disconnect
when finished with VPN.
