    Clinpro White Varnish 5% Sodium Fluoride

    3M ESPE Clinpro White varnish is a fluoridated clear varnish for treatment of hypersensitive teeth;
    it is appropriate for use on both enamel and dentine. It is moisture and saliva-tolerant; consequently,
    it flows smoothly on moist teeth and binds firmly to their surfaces.

    The treatment may be applied after routine professional tooth cleaning or scaling and rootplaning.
    However, this is not a prerequisite: the area to be treated only needs to be toothbrush clean.

    Most of all, your patients will appreciate the pleasant taste: Clinpro White varnish has the fresh flavour
    of mint. Xylitol is used as a sweetener.

    Active ingredient and dosage:


    1 ml of Clinpro White varnish contains 50 mg of sodium fluoride, corresponding to 22.6 mg of fluoride
    ions, in an alcohol based solution of modified resins. Individual doses of 0.25 ml, 0.40 ml and 0.50 ml
    for different patient classes are adaptable.

    0.25 ml:
    - For treatment of patients with primary teeth
    - For treatment of all patients in whom only limited tooth surfaces,
    recession or cavity areas must be covered

    .25 ml 0.40 ml:
    - For treatment of patients with both primary and permanent teeth in

    .40 ml
    whom larger tooth surfaces, recession or cavity areas must be covered
    - NOT for use on patients (children) who have only primary teeth
    .50 ml
    0.50 ml:
    - Only for patients with permanent teeth in whom larger areas must
    be covered
    - NOT for use on children

    Seven steps to professional results:


    1. To limit undesirable oral ingestion, determine the appropriate dose for the patient with the help of the dosing guide.
    2. Make sure the areas to be treated are at least toothbrush clean.
    3. Apply the entire contents of the individual container to the dark inner circle on the foil wrap of the dosing guide.
    4. Carefully mix the varnish with the brush, keeping the material inside the inner circle.
    5. The dosing guide (0.25 ml / 0.40 ml / 0.50 ml) allows you to accurately determine the dose each patient needs.
    6. However, to guarantee the best results take saliva off the tooth surfaces. Nevertheless, Clinpro White varnish
    can be spread evenly on teeth even when they have saliva on them. Avoid moving the applicator brush through
    accumulated saliva to prevent premature setting on the bristles.
    7. Apply the varnish evenly to the areas to be treated.
