    Avalanche is a serious problem that often occurs in the city of Manado. Conditions Manado hilly
    geography, unstable geological conditions, land use designation does not fit, heavy rainfall
    triggered the risk of disaster, one landslide. Disaster risk level than specified by the potential for
    disaster is also determined by the preparedness to deal with disasters. Location SMK Negeri 6
    Manado is located in steep areas that are at risk of landslide occurred. The Purpose to See Effects
    of Health Education Against Landslide Disaster Preparedness In Class XI student of SMK Negeri
    6 Manado. Sample 16 respondents using Systematic Random Sampling technique. The research
    method is one group pre and post test and Multiple Choice Questions use to get data from
    respondents. The results using Wilcoxon statistical test can be of value in P-Value of 0,021 (< =
    0.05). Conclusion shows the influence of health education on disaster preparedness in the face
    landslides in class XI student of SMK Negeri 6 Manado. The recomendation to the school to
    further boost the knowledge of disasters by making disaster preparedness training in school so that
    when disaster strikes suddenly students are truly prepared.
