In late 2016, Microsoft announced a set of new Azure MOOC courses designed to build partners and
customers Azure knowledge in a self-paced, interactive learning environment. Partners around the
world responded to the new training: over 162,000 of you have enrolled in the courses so far, and
youve earned over 12,000 certificates of completion. Now, almost a year later, the number of partners
enrolling in and consuming the MOOC courses on Open edX keeps climbing. Because the momentum
continues to grow, we are sharing here important news about your discovery point for the MOOCs,
completion dates and upcoming MOOC course retirements. Were also sharing information about new
Azure training available to you for free through Pluralsight read on for details.

Access to your MOOC courses

Many of you have been going directly to Microsofts Open edX site to find MOOC courses. The Open
edX home page will be retired in October 2017. To ensure uninterrupted access to your MOOC courses,
were featuring a list (see below) of the MOOC course titles, hyperlinked to take you directly to each
MOOC. Over the past few months, weve also included some of the MOOCs in new Technical Learning
Paths weve built. Weve included a list of those Learning Paths below as well, as another option for you
to find and consume MOOCs. We recommend that you bookmark the direct links to the MOOCs you
select. Once youve enrolled, the direct link will always take you to the course and to your dashboard
with your records even if the MOOC retires at some point in future. NOTE: Microsoft has extended the
course completion date for the Open edX MOOCs listed below, to December 31, 2017.

New Azure Skills Pluralsight Training

Microsoft is launching a new collection of Azure training in October 2017 that will help learners prepare
for Technical careers. These are courses that Microsoft built in partnership with Pluralsight. They will be
refreshed twice a year to ensure the Azure content they offer is relevant and current. Learners can view
the content in localized version using the closed captions function within each course. As self-paced,
practical training that include labs practice and Challenge exercises, these courses are designed to make
learners job-ready for the following roles:

Azure Administrator Node.js Developer on Azure

Azure Stack Operator AI Developer on Azure
Azure Solutions Architect Azure for AWS Professionals
.Net Developer on Azure

Weve built Learning Paths to take you to these new Azure courses; youll find a list of these Learning
Paths below.

How do the new Pluralsight trainings fit into the broader picture of Microsoft Azure training?
Heres the approach we recommend for partners:

1. Start with the Pluralsight courses (see the list below) these will provide you a strong
foundation of practical Azure job skills.
2. Progress to the MOOC courses on Open edX (see the list below) these will give you the
depth skilling needed to fortify your Azure technical acumen.
3. Finally, take the MCP exams to prove your expertise and earn certifications. We have a
discount offer that you can apply to any Microsoft Azure exam, available to partners until March
2018.
Azure Skills training lists (see charts below)

Three of the MOOC courses contain outdated material and therefore will be retired before end of 2017.
Look for the text in bold red below, to find the three retiring MOOCs and their scheduled retirement
dates. There are no planned replacements for these courses.
