This document describes the functions of various modules that can be used to test protective relays. Module 1 can test overcurrent, undercurrent, directional overcurrent, directional voltage, directional power, overvoltage, undervoltage, harmonics, differential, synchronism, directional, DC, motor overload, and thermal relays. Module 2 can manually control AC variables for testing. Module 3 supports timer functions. Module 4 can perform primary side injection, ratio, polarity, and winding resistance tests on current transformers. Module 5 allows review of up to 30 test reports. Module 6 sets rated voltage and frequency parameters and Module 7 provides auxiliary DC power.
