SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the activity, the students should be able to:

recall the previous topic on transitional words, verb forms and verb tenses;
demonstrate honesty and good behavior in answering the test; and,
finish answering the examination on time.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Verb Tenses, Transitional Words, and Verb Forms


References: No reference was used for this activity
Time allotment: 48 minutes
Instructional Materials: Manila Paper and Pentel Pen

III. PROCEDURE

A. Motivation

The teacher will greet the students and ask them if they have taken their breakfast.
The teacher will check the readiness of the students and begin to initiate an ice-breaker to prepare
the students physical condition.
Later on, the students will be asked about the previous discussions.

B. Presentation

The teacher will instruct the students to leave no other things on their desk except ballpen and a
one-half crosswise paper.
The teacher will post the test questions on the board and let the students answer the questions
honestly and silently.

C. Analysis

The students will be advised to analyze closely the test questions and as well as the directions.

D. Abstraction

The students will be asked to give their feedback about the examination

E. Practice

The students will continue answering the test questions.

IV. ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION
The students will be given a summative test on Verb Forms, Transitional Words and Verb
Tenses.

V. Assignment

The students will be asked to write an essay describing the love of their mother. In writing their
essay, they will be required to use the tenses of the verb.
