Adding Drug Library to B|Braun Pump

1. Run the setup of the B|Braun application at this location.


a. \\jh\shares\dept\Clinical Engineering\BBraun 10_25\HiBaSeD_5\HiBaSeD_5.1.0_US
b. If you already have the application installed, it will show on desktop

2. Right click on the application Select properties Click the Compatibility tab Select the
checkbox to Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

b. Click Apply, then click OK
3. Connect the pump to the your computer
4. Start the HiBaSeD application
a. Check the box and select yes

5. Select Service Program radio button

b. Password: sp3
6. You should see the Infusomat Space on the left side.

b. Double click the Infusomat Space S
7. Click the Clone tab at the bottom
a. Click OK

8. Make sure that you are on the Write to Device(s) tab

9. Click on the Green plus sign just below the Write to Device(s) tab

10. The Infusomat should populate the box
11. Select the Drug Data radio button

12. Click File

b. Find the .dle drug file provided by the pharmacy
13. Click to Device(es)
