MARKETING PLAN

1.1 Description of the Product

The proposed product of the group will be the R Purse, the R stands for
Recyclable. Made up of recyclable materials specially the wrappers of junk foods or
snacks item, this product can be useful to contribute to lessen the waste of the non-
biodegradable and it is an environmental friendly purse. It also a water proof purse
because of the material used. The product can be purchased in the boutiques and
market.

1.2 Comparison of the Product compared with its Competitors

The major competitor of R purse will be the purse that can be sold in the market
made up of leather, fabric or other material except for the recyclables.
R purse is also a unique product because of the way it is made. Although the
production of this product is slow because it is handmade this can be sold cheaper than
other purse. Innovating the product will needed to compete in order to see the
uniqueness, such as putting some other colors in it or customize purse.

1.3 Location

The business will be located in USM Ave, Kabacan, Cotabato. Final product will
be sold and produce in a small house in the Osias, Kabacan, Cotabato. A boutique can
be establish in the USM Avenue, Kabacan, Cotabato which will cater all individuals.

1.4 Market Area

The planned marketing area of the product will be around Kabacan.

1.5 Main Customers

All interested customers will be the major target of this product. To convince the
people to segregate waste and to dispose properly their garbage.

1.6 Total Demand

Because of the uniqueness of the product this can be new to the people of the
Kabacan it can be a major hit if it is out in the market.
As of now, no one sold recyclable purse in the area of Kabacan yet.
1.7 Market Share

The business aims to get 100% of its target. But since it is new to the people it is
impossible to get in a single year. We will be aiming a 5% of the market share yearly by
improving this product.
1.8 Selling Price

Our product cost 20-35 pesos only. Our product also comes with a customized
and other styles

1.9 Sales Forecast

Since our product is unique we can only try to the people if it hit or not. In starting
day we can have a 10 R purse and it will be added 3 or 4 pieces a day.

1.10 Promotional Measures

We can have a free customized name for those who will buy first. We can also
give them a discount if they will buy more.

1.11 Marketing Strategy

The strategy that we can is to advertise it to radio and television. We can also
produce tarpaulin and leaflets just to be known.

2.3 LIFE OF FIXED CAPITAL

The life of the fixed capital are depending on how the workers will use but we can
assure that the fixed capital will have a good quality to assure its long life.

2.4 MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

The maintenance and repair will be scheduled quarterly. To check all the
necessary equipment to repair and the building to be renovate or clean. Since our
product are handmade were not using any of the machine to make the product.

2.5 SOURCES OF EQUIPMENT

The sources of the equipment or materials to be use is in the market where the
raw materials are available. Examples are the supermarkets and school supplies
establishments. The main raw material of the product is easy to find since it is a
recyclable.

The planned capacity will be depending on the skilled worker who can work the
product.

We can trained skilled workers for the future of the said product to double the
production. We can also innovate the product for concurrence in the future.

The machinery in this product is the people working on it. There will be a salaries
in the skilled workers and an increase of salary depending on the income of the product.

boutique will be arrange and design by a selected interior designer.

The required raw materials is depending on how much the assigned collector of
the materials can collect.

Since our raw material is a recyclable we have no problem about that.

Our raw materials is available anytime because of the concept of our product.

The direct labor is all we need because of the hand made product. The workers
should hands on too. The wages of the salary are depending on how many R purse
they can produce in a day.

The cost of labor is depending on how many purse they can produce in a day. In
one piece they can have 20 pesos.

2.15 LABOUR AVAILABILITY

The workers are also a person that need some rest and a vacation. They can
rest while others can substitute them while resting. The substitute worker also will be
trained and skilled well to minimize the errors.

They can have an increase of salaries if they do good and can achieve the quota
is that day. They can also receive incentives in a permanent position.
