The procedure described in this document explains how to re-
store the original Factory data in the Pa3Xs internal memory,
by loading the Pa3X_RES.pkg file from an USB storage de-
vice. This operation is only due in one of the following cases:
The Pa3X appears frozen, due to memory corruption or load-
ing of incompatible data.
You have just installed the HDIK-2 hard disk kit in the 61-key
version, and you must reinstall the original data.
The most up-to-date version of the Pa3X_RES.pkg file can be
downloaded from our web site (www.korgpa.com).
Note: Loading this file may take several minutes. Please do not
turn the instrument off before the loading operation has been

Loading the Pa3X_RES.pkg file

Here is how to load the Pa3X_RES.pkg to your Pa3X.
1. Unzip the Pa3X_RES.zip archive to extract the Pa3X_
RES.pkg file, and copy the Pa3X_RES.pkg file into the root
of an USB storage device.
Warning: Do not change the name of this file!
2. If it is on, press the STANDBY button to turn the Pa3X off.

sur un support USB. Notez que cette opration est uniquement

Remarque: Le chargement de ce fichier peut prendre quelques
minutes. Ne mettez jamais linstrument hors tension avant la fin

Archivage de vos donnes
Avertissement: Lors du chargement de ce fichier, toutes les
donnes de la mmoire interne sont effaces. Il vaut mieux
archiver ces dernires avant de continuer.
Larchivage de toutes les donnes utilisateur peut tre effectu
avec la commande Media > Save All.
Si vous avez aussi modifi des donnes dusine, songez ar-
chiver les donnes dusine et utilisateur avec la commande Full
Resource Backup (commande Media > Utility).

5. Connectez le support USB au port HOST USB en faade.
Une fois le support connect, touchez le bouton [OK].

Creare una copia di sicurezza dei dati
Attenzione: Il caricamento di questo file canceller tutti i dati
dalla memoria interna, quindi vi preghiamo di creare una copia
di sicurezza dei dati che intendete conservare.
Per salvare tutti i dati User, usate la procedura Media > Save
All.
Se la memoria interna contiene dati Factory personalizzati,
salvate tutti i dati Factory e User con il comando Full Resource
Backup che trovate nella pagina Media > Utility.
