Use clear instructions to explain the activity by using simple words and model it for children because it will support them
to do the tasks without facing a problem.
Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have achieved the goal?)
(How will you evaluate the objectives that were identified? Have students practiced what you are asking them to do for evaluation?)
I will use formative assessment strategies such as questioning and observation.
While students are doing the activity, I will walk around to observe and monitor students to check their understanding.
Also, I will ask them an oral question, such as, how did you get that? Moreover, I will provide appropriate feedbacks for
them to improve their learning.
Reflection
Strength
o Using various ways to engage students during the lesson including, video,
differentiation activities and cooperative activity. All these ways gave
students opportunity to explore, evaluate their learning and develop their
understanding about the lesson as well as improve their communication skills.
o Manage the class effectively by using various ways including positive reinforcement,
transition between activities, and maintain students interest throughout the lesson
o Using differentiation question supported me to discover what students know and can do
about specific outcomes from the lesson. So, from this assessment I was able to notice
which students needs scaffolding and I was reinforcing and supporting them by
sitting with them individually and teach them the concept again.
Suggestion for improvement
Give students explicit instruction and model the activity for them because students faced
problem to complete the activity by themselves.
