I started to teach in 2006 so I have been teaching for 11 years.
I enjoy teaching in the UAE.
I really like to teach math.
I like to teach Year 3 the most.
I have taught Year 3 at RAK Academy for two years now.
Interview:
Assessment is ongoing and completed by the class teacher based on
the childrens work and observations in the classroom.
Every 6 weeks we complete an assessment week where the children do
tests in math. The childrens writing is assessed at the end of each unit where they are asked to independently complete a piece of writing based on the unit of work that we have just completed.
The teacher completes a tracking sheet to monitor pupil progress, this
is also completed every 6 weeks.
The classroom teacher carries out the assessments.
We have an assessment coordinator who collects in the data to monitor
the levels of the children in year groups and as school.
Based on ongoing assessment I will adapt my planning and lessons to
meet the needs of the class.
The children are grouped differently for math and English.
