8. Selection procedure :- The selection procedure shall include the


following two stages :-
:
(i) Stage-II Written Examination :-
: Open competitive examination
(offline) will be held at various districts of Uttar
Uttar Pradesh. This test shall consist
of 100 objective type questions to be answered on OMR sheet.
Five candidates in order of merit of Stage-I
Stage I Written Examination shall be
shortlisted category-wise
wise against each notified vacancy for appearing in
Stage-II
II Written Examination which will be conducted on a later date at
Allahabad.
(ii) Stage-II
II Written Examination
E :- On the basis of marks scored in
Stage-I Written Examination five candidates against each vacancy category-
category
wise shall be shortlisted to participate in Stage-II
Stage II Written Examination, which
shall be held at Allahabad. This test shall also be objective
objective type consisting 100
questions to be answered on OMR sheets.
(iii) Interview shall not be the part of selection process.
(iv) A combined merit list for all Group 'D' posts shall be prepared on
the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Stage-I
Sta I Written Examination
and Stage-II
II Written Examination.
Notwithstanding anything contrary in these rules the Appointing
Authority and the Selecting Authority with regard to conduct of examination
and selection shall act in accordance with general or special orders issued by
Hon'ble the Chief Justice of High Court from time to time.

9. Syllabus for offline Written Examination (on O.M.R. sheet) for Group
'D' posts :-

Syllabus for both the Stages of Written Examinations (on O.M.R. sheets)
shall be as follows :

Written Examination SUBJECTS Maximum


(Time: 90 Minutes) Marks
(A) Hindi
Examination will carry
100 questions (B) English 100
(C) General Studies

(D) Mathematics

There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi


languages.
The Selection Committee has discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks
in any or all parts of papers in both the Stages of Examinations.
