Mod Bus ID Settings Manual

Introduction

This software is used to set the mod bus Id in hardware as well as get its value from hardware.
It also detects the port with mentioned baud rate. It also shows the mod bus id.

Hardware Required :
1. 1004DB

Who should use this manual

This manual is intended primarily, for people who are required mod bus id setting .

The prerequisite to use this software is as follows:


1. You should be familiar with the MS-Windows / Windows NT operating system.
2. You should know the customary Network and UPS related terms.
3. PC on which software will be running should be connected in LAN.

How to start this Software

To start with this software, run the provided executable of this software .
Setting of Mod bus ID

When user will double click on provided executable following window will appear.

Click on 'Detect' button to detect the port as well as baud rate. The existing mod bus id will
automatically get extracted and displayed in 'Mod bus Id' text box.
There are three buttons 'Set ID', 'Get ID' and 'Clear' which are used for following functionality.

1. Set ID: For setting the mod bus ID in hardware.


2. Get ID: For getting the mod bus ID from hardware.
3. Clear: For clearing the mod bus ID text box.
