INSTALLATION
Equipment / Pipe has been released for Insulation
Surfaces are clean and dry
Existing applied materials and end points are properly protected from weather and
damage.
Number of insulation layer correct.
Correct banding space and seal used
Correct use of filler and/or mastic materials
Correct expansion joints installed
Correct application at stiffener rings
Name Plates / Tags left exposed, if appropriate
Vapor barrier installed as required
Correct jacket installed
Correct band spacing and supports used as required.
Correct lapping vertically and horizontally
Joints Staggered (if required) and fit-up
Correct placement of screws/fasteners
Correct use of S slips on vertical runs
Correct overlap of cladding
Penetration & obstructions properly caulked with approved sealant
