Proctor Compaction Test 06.04.12

This document contains the results of a standard proctor compaction test conducted on soil samples from a sewage treatment plant construction site. The test involved compacting the wet soil in layers in a 1000cc mould and recording the weight and density at each trial. The maximum dry density was found to be 1.64 g/cc at an optimum moisture content of 18.85%. A graph plotting dry density against moisture content showed the peak density was achieved at around 18-19% moisture content.
