CRITICAL LIFT PLAN

For use of this form, see EM 385-1-1, Section 16. Proponent is Crane HHWG.

Date: 14-06-207 Prepared By: Siva Kumar

Location: KNB Site USACE District:

A "critical lift" is defined as any non-routine crane lift requiring detailed planning and additional or unusual safety precautions. Critical lifts
include: lifts made where the load weight is greater than 75% of the rated capacity of the crane; lifts which require load to be lifted, swung
or placed out of the operator's view ; lifts made with more than one crane; lifts involving non-routine/technically difficult rigging
arrangement; hoisting personnel with a crane or derrick; or any lift which the crane operator believes should be critical.

Lifting, installation and driving one test pile is considered as a critical

. load lift by crawler crane

: Loading calculation
Test pile diameter = 914 mm
Pile steel thick = 20 mm
Total pile length = 32 m
Total weight of test pile = 31900.5 Ib
Self weight of vibro hammer = 28659.80 Ib
Self weight of Hooks = 2865.98 Ib
Total working load = 63426.28 Ib

BEARING PRESSURES & GROUND CONDITIONS

: Working Bearing pressure calculation

Maximum working load = 63426.28 Ib

Length of crawler support = 26 ft
Width of crawler support = 4.00 ft

Assuming that the applied load in 100% of the working load and will be
. distributed equally on both supports

Area of crawler support (A) = 104 square feet

Bearing pressure = P/A

Ib/ft2 609.87 = 63426.28/104 =

Total Bearing pressure calculation = 5.97 + (1.06 Kg/cm2) = 609.87 +

2171 = 2780.9 Ib/ft2

The ground condition will be steel barge deck where the barge stability
.calculation is attached
