Week 1

This first week of teaching practicum was spent at Ajman Academy School in Almowaihat, which follows the IB philosophy while using English standards. The school offers classes in Arabic A, Arabic B, Urdu, and Spanish to teach students in their mother tongue. The teacher was paired with Miss Adele Stanbury in Grade One, where they began observations to collect information on student levels, curriculum scope and sequencing without a textbook, and good classroom management practices related to their research question.

Week One

This is my first week in teaching practicum, I been in Ajman Academy School,


located in Almowaihat, they believe in IB philosophy but used England
standard. They have classes for Arabic A, Arabic B, Urdu, and Spanish to tough
students with their mother tongue. The School welcomed us and I been with
Miss Adele Stanbury with Grade One. I began my observation and I aimed to
collect several information such as, students level, scope and sequencing plan
because there is no book to follow. Also, I captured some good classroom
management that is in relation with my research question
