EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Most of workers that work at this restaurant are from Bangladesh and India. Next, the
strength for this restaurant is Nasi Kandar and its fried chicken. They have their own recipe
for the fried chicken. Then, all the workers have been trained before they enter into real life
works. They also provide free Wi-Fi to the customers. This restaurant is very clean because
they got grade A from the MBSA. But the weakness that they have to overcome is to hire the
workers from Bangladesh and India. Something, customer has problem in communication
with the workers. The good opportunity for this restaurant is they opened 24 Hours. The
thread they must avoid is to ensure all the food preserve always maintain its delicious except
for the Nasi Kandar.

BUSSINESS DESCRIPTION
With the growing demands mamak restaurant in Malaysia, Restaurant Hakim decides
to open its restaurant in 1994 which originally locates at Pulau Pinang. The start up with a
business such as serves food for people is quite risky because there are many other
entrepreneurs who are involves in the same business. A luxury and expensive food doesnt
seem to fit in the current economic status but with the target market is middle class person
such as students play a prominent role to this business to stay open and successful. Often we
see people in Malaysia like very much to eat at mamak restaurant because the food is
reasonable and not too expensive consider to other restaurant.
Restaurant Hakim provides meal such as roti canai, nasi kandar and others that
doesnt provide by other restaurant. The price doesnt include taxes as GST must be
including after total the prices. Salary for the workers is based on performance and income.
Restaurant Hakim now has 2 branches in Shah Alam. After opened its branch at Penang but
not successful. Mr Hakim opens his first branch in section 2 near Uitm Shah Alam in 1998.
After seeing the progress made, they open another restaurant at section 7 which still operates
until now.
