Evernote is an application and website designed for note taking, organizing, and archiving. It allows students and teacher to
create note consisting of text, webpages, pictures, videos, and handwritten notes. These notes can also be file attachments and
can be sorted into notebooks, tagged, and comments. Its a great way for students to use during class, take notes, and organize
them effectively. Students can accumulate notes over the school year and use them to study for exams and projects.

Evernotes aligns to 5 ISTE-S standards. It allows students to use an online format to organize their thoughts and create a
personalized learning environment, as students get to choose how they organize their notes. The application can be used
throughout the school year in every class, therefor it transforms a lesson in a way that would be impossible or very
difficult without it. Students will use it to enhance their learning by organizing their thoughts and knowledge in a way
that best benefits them. It is student-centered as it will be used by the students consistently and they can use the
application to gather content and organize it to create a portfolio that can assist in their studying and overall learnings.
