PHD Cse Program Requirements

The PhD CSE program requires students to complete a minimum of 80 credit hours including 9 credits of graduate core courses in algorithms, computability and complexity or programming languages, and computer architecture or operating systems. Students must also complete at least 10 graded credit hours each in a PhD major and two PhD minors, as well as additional electives and research hours. The program includes both pre-candidacy and post-candidacy requirements with a minimum of 60 credits for pre-candidacy.
