Deacon’s Ministry Children in Action ....aka CIA
Vacations are over, school is in session We are so excited to be starting
and Fall is on its way. We’ve had a great something new on Wedneseday nights! summer, a wonderful Vacation Bible The CIA is for kids in the first through School and now we’re looking forward to the sixth grade. We are learing about another great Church Year. We are missionaries and the work they do and blessed with dedicated workers who give also how we can do mission work right God the glory for all things done. Please here at home. something we used to do every year here. (205-280-6243) We have “adopted” a missionary. His Brooke’s Team: Brooke, Greta, Pam S. name is Marshall Bundren and he is a (249-3910) missionary in Indiana. He works with Brenda’s Team: Brenda, Paul men who come in on the cargo ships on (245-7349) Lake Michigan. We will be collecting supplies for him to give to these men. A NOTE: If you swap a week with list is in the vestibule. Then on Sunday, someone let Brooke know in advance. August 22nd at 5:00 we will have a Christmas in August Luau. The CIA’s will be presenting a program complete Musical Notes with Christmas music and skits. Please Judy Stocks make plans to join us. There will be refreshments following the program. Are you coming to our end of the month Sunday night singings? Well, if you God Bless You, aren't, you are missing a treat. We are Kelley having a wonderful time praising the Lord in song and we would love for you to join us. I want to use all who want to Children’s Church be involved. If you have a song you would like to do please let me know. to sell. We are encouraging our members to “sign out” and sell a number of Cook Books to help with the fund raising. Please call Brooke Baird, who has been elected the Director of the Play Ground Project, at 249-3910, to help with this much needed fund raiser.
Business Meetings
Business meetings are held the second
Monday of every month at 6:00 pm. Please bring a covered dish for supper and fellowship before the meeting. The next meeting is Monday, September 13th

Neighborhood Watch
The monthly meeting for the Community
Neighborhood Watch is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Weogufka School Lunchroom. All area residents are invited to attend. Just bring a covered dish for supper.
