SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
,...------i AW~BNING1----------------------..
If cutting oil spills ontoyour work clothes, clean it off immediately, because it may
catch fire.
Exercise care in handling cutting oil. In order to prevent fire from occurring with
cutting oil, do not use water-insoluble cutting oil when carrying out unattended
operation. If the floor is made of wood, use extra care for fire because it is liable to
catch fire.
When removing the side cover, take care not to let it fall. It is heavy enough to
causebone fracture shouldyou drop it onto your foot.
Use the appropriateprotectivegear (including the specified work clothing, safety
shoes, and protective goggles) to protect yourself from injury.
Do not allow any unauthorized person to operate the machine. The keys (the NC
power switch key, door interlock key, edit ON/OFFkey, and side cover key) must
be placed under the controlof the responsible person.

,- A CAUTION 1----'-----------____._
If a tool is damagedor in bad condition, it should be changed immediately.
The workpiece must be mounted securely.
When addressingsomeone who is operating a machine, speak to him or her from
the front diagonal direction, never from the back.
Always use fusesof the specifiedcapacitywiththe switcheson the machine. Never
use wire or copper lead in place of a fuse.
After inspecting electricalequipment, alwaysretum the cover to its originalposition.
Always keep electricalmachineryand tools clean.
Never attempt to modify electricalequipment.
When using a bench drilling machine, the machine must be grounded unless it is
double insulated. If the machine is equipped with a three-prongplug, it should be
plugged into a three-hole electricsocket.
If it is necessaryfor maintenance to remove or disable a safety device temporarily,
be sure to return it to its original condition as soon as possible.

SET UP THE MACHINE
* IT is not responsibility range outside to any troubles, in the case that it is not
done the measure to each matters that demand special arrangement.
1. Please strengthen landing processing, because induction noise may mix it, in the
place which has the noise occurrence resource of electricity welding machine etc.
nearly.
Also it is necessary the noise filter in power supply line by environment.
2. Give landing as over the 3rd seed landing (the landing resistance under 1000) as
exclusive use landing.
3. Please never do the landing to the share landing, iron frame etc. with large
electric power devices.
Noise might enter from large electric power devices.
4. Please do not attach solenoid valve etc. to this machine control box.
Noise occurs from the coil within the valve and might exert bad influence on the
control.
5. Please do not bundle the power line and signal line together in the case that the
outside input-output signal is used.
Noise sometimes enters into the signal line from the power line.
6. As for the signal line for the outside input-output, please use the shield line.
Also please cut the line because noise might enter from the line of unuse.
7. Please use the electromagnet with the serge killer and also noise filter, in the case
that the electromagnet switch, relay are used.
8. Please do not bundle the 200V power supply line and 100V power supply line
together.

The temperatures of the inverter, brake resistance, etc. in the control
panel rises high during operation.
When it is required to remove the cover for inspection or servicing,be
sure to leave the machine for more than 5minutes after turning its
power off to wait for the internal components to be cooled down.
-2-
2.Preparation Before Operation
1. Installing the machine
Fix the machine on the work bench by means on the holes on the base.
