Description
This course covers installing, designing, customizing, and configuring Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Applications and
the Business Intelligence Warehouse (BAW). The course begins with an exploration of Oracle BI Applications and their
components and architecture. Next, it details the steps to install and configure Oracle BI Applications, BAW, and
supporting technology, including Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). After the products are installed and configured, you
explore the prebuilt extract, load, and transform (ELT) metadata that ships with the products to gain an understanding of
the ELT process and the relationships between the architecture components.

After the installation and initial exploration, you use ODI and the Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager to
configure ELT and run an execution plan to load Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) data into the BAW. After the data is
loaded, you are introduced to key concepts around customization of the BAW.
Learn to:

Install and configure Oracle Business Intelligence Applications and Business Analytics Warehouse
Explore prebuilt ELT metadata, including Oracle Data Integrator mappings
