Fem Mid 1 Question Bank

This document appears to be a midterm exam for a 7th semester B.Tech course in Finite Element Method (FEM). It contains 7 questions testing students' understanding of fundamental FEM concepts like stress equilibrium, plane stress/strain conditions, displacement fields, stiffness matrices, interpolation functions, and treating boundary conditions. Students are asked to determine displacements, strains, stresses, and reactions for 1D and 2D structural problems modeled using basic frame and truss elements. The questions cover both the theoretical foundation and practical application of the FEM.
