0 PURPOSE

This Written Practice describes control and administration of training examination, qualification
and certification programme in non-destructive testing for this company.

2.0 SCOPE

This document is Written Practice of the control and administration of training examination;
qualification and certification of Levels I, II and III ultrasonic, radiography, magnetic, eddy current,
penetrant and radiographic interpretation, non-destructive testing (NDT) personnel employed by
Nuclear Consultancy & Inspection Services Sdn Bhd The Written Practice follows the
recommendations of SNT-TC-IA, (2006 edition), American Society for Nondestructive Testing.

3.0 DEFINITIONS

3.1 Terms included in this document are defined as follows:-


3.1.1 Certification: written testimony of qualification.
3.1.2 Certification authority: the person or persons properly designated in the written
practice to sign certifications on behalf of the employer.
3.1.3 Certifying agency: the employer of the personnel being certified.
