Important Instructions:
Candidate is provisionally allowed to appear in the CPAT-2017 on the basis of his/her online application. In case any of the information
furnished by the candidate is found to be wrong, his/her candidature will stand cancelled, without any notice to the candidate.
Candidates should check the location of the examination centre much before examination. Change of examination centre is not permitted on
any ground.
Candidates should bring the following to the examination centre
Two copies of examination admit card (printout) with your recent passport size photograph pasted on it and signed in the space provided on
both copies of the admit cards. One copy of the admit card (University copy) must be submitted at the exam centre. Also bring your original
photo ID proof (e.g. Aadhar card/ Voter ID/ Driving license/ Passport.). No entry will be given in exam centre, without these documents.
Two black Blue / Black Ball point Pens. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited.
Examination time and reporting time
The candidates are required to enter the examination centre premises at 12:00 PM, but not after 12:30 PM
The candidates should occupy their seats in the examination room from 12:15 PM but not after 12:45 PM
Examination will start at 01:00 PM
Candidate will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the examination is over.
Following items are not allowed inside the examination centre
Candidate must not carry Blank Paper/Clipboard/ Log table/ Calculator/ slide rule / Cellular Phones / Pagers / Communication
Equipment/Electronic gadgets, Electronic watches or books, loose papers written notes or metal objects or any other material that may be used
as unfair means.
Negative Marking
There is negative marking in the examination, 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer while 1 (one) mark will be deducted for each
wrong answer.
While answering, candidate must mark only one correct answer per question. If he/she gives more than one answer, computer will mark the
answer wrong.
Answer your questions after careful thought, as erasing/cutting/whitening on the sheet is not permitted.
Important
Candidates should use only Blue / Black Ball point Pen for filling up the particulars on the Test Booklet, the OMR Answer sheet and Attendance
Sheet. Candidates should carefully write Test Booklet Code on the OMR Answer sheet and vice-versa.
OMR answer sheet is in triplicate, first Original copy (University copy), Second Copy (Confidential Copy) and Third copy (Candidates Copy). In
no case these are separated by any candidate during the examination. Handle the OMR sheet very carefully. Do not fold or leave any smudges.
The admit card must be saved and produced at the time of counselling.
Candidate should insure that his/her biometric attendance, Still & Video Photography is recorded during admission test, at the examination
centre.
If any candidate has claimed the reservation for Sub Category (e.g. freedom fighter ward/ Ex serviceman/ NCC C certificate with B
grading etc.), he/she will bring and submit a copy of application form along with supporting documents at the examination centre. In
case, these documents are found fake, the candidate will be debarred from the admission process. Candidates who do not submit
their documents will not be given the benefit claimed. All certificates should be in the proper format as given on the CPAT 2017
website.
Shoes & Socks are restricted inside the examination room at the examination centre.
