Companys Governance
Motorola Solutions Board of Director currently consists of nine members, Gregory Q. Brown
the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer followed by 8 other directors (Motorola Solution
,2017). As we have mentioned earlier that Motorola Solutions will go for a Strategic alliance
with Protect America. In order to follow and implement the alliance, our recommendation for
Motorola solutions will be to form an interim Advisory board where the most efficient
members will be selected from both the organizations. The time frame of this interim board will
be for 5years and after 5years, if the strategic alliance makes good amount of earnings, than they
will extend the time frame of the alliance. If the alliance does not bring success after 5years, then
the alliance will be dismissed along with the interim advisory board. Moreover, as the company
is outsourcing equipment assembling and customer service at different locations, we will suggest
outsourced. The representative will directly communicate with the interim advisory board for
any suggestion or updating purpose. This will help to monitor and control directly lowering the
bureaucratic cost.
Personal control will help the employees in a working team aiming at a specific goal to reach
the goal more efficiently, in less time. This will help in the new market where the alliance will
create new working teams. These teams will come up with new ideas to generate greater market
sales in case of marketing team and new innovative ideas can be check by supervision and
criticisms can be fixed or worked on in less time for the R &D team, where by the flow of ideas
will encourage new innovations. These ideas will be supported by the extensive market research

done by the customer care departments data taken from the daily handle of customers giving the
Standardization of inputs can help the organizations to recruit the employees who are
engineers and software developer with brilliant mind with innovative ideas, which Motorola
Solutions has always pursued to meet the goal of company to help people in the moment of their
need of safety and connecting with each other and recruiting employees, valuing the importance

work. Periodic sampling and monitoring if the equipments are meeting the quality management
is very important for the service the company is providing. The customer care problem with the
new security set up or servicing of the installation equipment and keeping a track of it is also
very crucial for the company to meet its goal of how much error to take or not and to work on it.
Reward system should be different for different groups. For marketing & sales it should be
based on how many offices or houses are installed with Motorola solutions security service and
if it is meeting the monthly goal then they should be rewarded with bonus for motivation.
For R & D sector the project manager, should be given stock option so that they get chance to
become share holder and work for the companys sake as they are a part of it and dont switch
companies or leak their technological knowledge which is very significant for the company.

Supportive Organizational Culture
Their organizational culture within office working environment supports their main motto which
is Helping people in the moments that matter (Motorola Solutions, 2017). The employees are
always interconnected with each other through their network system. Their co-workers share
good relationship with each others which supports their free flow of communications. This
helps them to work efficiently when there is a crisis and manage their customers. The customer
service teams sit with customers and work on their requirements to build the network safety they
are looking for (Motorola Solutions, 2017). This will help them in their future project as the
company has build the culture of problem solving without losing their temper or feeling de-
motivated. This will help in creating good word of mouth in the marketing they will be pursuing

technological companies; they know how to protect their technological factors which is
confidential and which is meant to be shared. This will help in creating good strategic alliance

alliance in case of accepting ideas and also be helpful to explore new markets and other parts of
their operations, where they will understand the need of supporting customers differently.
Motorola Solutions has always emphasis highly on innovation. Corporate VP and Chief
Information Officer (CIO) Greg Meyers, has led IT to become much more customer-centric,
deriving ideas directly from those who Motorola Solutions serves (Forbes, 2016).

This outlook has been delivered throughout their organizational culture too. This will help them
to become more innovative according to the location need and to build profit generating ideas
regarding low operational cost and new equipments to meet higher efficiency.
Global Strategy
For Asia Pacific region the work of making equipments and providing services could be located
in China and India ( like Bangalore which is well-known for IT) where the cost of production is
low and technological efficient is higher which will help to spread the cost and the company can
enjoy location economies. This will support plan of out sousing the value creation activity. For
Latin America the outsoaring low-cost location would be in Mexico and for Middle East Dubai,
as the country U.A.E is growing with giant infrastructure the need of security for office and
home is promising. After overseeing the profit growth the companies would reach out for
European and African markets .The operating office will provide with information which
location is best for low-cost outsourcing and both the companies will pull their financial
resources to oversee the quality management of outsourced work. This will help the companies
to understand the local infrastructure and requirements of security purpose of the local and their
different needs.
From their global headquarters support transnational strategy would be beneficial for the
business model they want to peruse. Already established offices would provide market
information from them would help to achieve low cost structure for equipment assembling and
work-force. For different infrastructure different equipment and service is needed which will
