COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces topics on qualitative and quantitative analysis for environmental samples using spectroscopy
and chromatography methods. Besides, this course also covers the analysis methods for water, soil and air samples.
Analytical method, analytical data and sampling procedures will be introduced as well in this course.

1. Attendance to class is compulsory. Absence from lectures, tests, industrial visit or presentation must be
supported with relevant documentation.
2. Attendance (lectures/laboratories) of 80% is compulsory; otherwise the students will be barred.
3. Marks will be deducted for late submission of assignment and mini project reports after the due date.
4. Consultation is by appointment only.
