CEV444 INSTRUMENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
FACULTY OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING,
UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA CAWANGAN PULAU PINANG
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course introduces topics on qualitative and quantitative analysis for environmental samples using spectroscopy
and chromatography methods. Besides, this course also covers the analysis methods for water, soil and air samples.
Analytical method, analytical data and sampling procedures will be introduced as well in this course.
Explain related environmental problems based on the basic principles of instrumental and
CO1
environmental analysis (C6).
Organize experiments related to instrumental and environmental analysis in solving environmental
CO2
problems based on standard laboratory practice (P4).
CO3 Explain the experimental findings in report with proper organization (A4).
