Muwatalli I was a king of the Hittites who killed his predecessor Huzziya II and took the throne. However, Muwatalli I himself was later killed in the palace by Himuili, the Chief of the Palace Servants, and Kantuzili, the Overseer of the Gold Chariot Fighters. His wife was named Walanni.
