Abstract:
Recent years have witnessed growing popularity of sensor and sensor-network
technologies, supporting important practical applications. One such application is
Tracking. One of the fundamental issues in tracking is how to accurately track a user with
few labelled data in a wireless sensor network, where a major difficulty arises from the
need to label large quantities of user location data, which in turn requires knowledge about
the locations of signal transmitters, or access points.

In this paper, we propose a Graph-Based, robust and accurate Indoor Tracking System
using smartphone built-in inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors and Wi-Fi received
signal strength measurements. The Smartphone equipped accelerometers, gyroscope and
magnetometer are used to estimate the walking distance and direction of user and the
received Wi-Fi strengths are used track the device.
