as the founders of Dar Alteeb are dedicated to providing our discerning customers with
exceptional international quality perfumes, created to the highest international standards, and
showcased in uniquely designed boutiques.

Our ambition is to use our global network of laboratories, in over ten countries spread over three
continents, to develop new, quality products. Furthermore, building on our already successful
name, we plan to take the Dar Alteeb brand beyond the Gulf regionwhere we have already
established a loyal following and showcase the brand globally.

The Essential

Established in Kuwait in 2004, Dar Alteeb is a classic perfume house that creates exquisite
fragrances, blending highly-prized Arabic aromas with the most delicate of European essences.
Each Dar Alteeb boutique offers the customer a holistic experience that excites and intrigues
every sense. Moreover the boutiques sumptuous designs are a major element to our brand
identity, evoking a forgotten elegance, coupled perfectly with the grandeur of the great perfume
houses of Europe.
Dar Alteebmeaning House of Fragrance in Arabicwas founded by Abdulaziz and Adel Saud Al
Dhafiri. They chose the name to highlight the intimacy and elegance of their own special brand
of fragrances.
Based in Kuwait but travelling widely, Abdulaziz Saud Al Dhafiri is the creative mind behind Dar
Alteeb; his experiences of different countries and traditions have prompted a desire to capture
the essence of his unique and memorable cultural experiences in each and every one of Dar
Alteebs products.
As a successful businessman Adel Saud Al Dhafiri is responsible for championing the business side
of Dar Alteeb from a Kuwaiti brand to an international name. He is always seeking marketing and
business opportunities and ensuring the brand integrity of the company is maintained
throughout the Gulf.
The two mens inspiration and drive comes from their love of historic perfume brands, where
fragrance recipes were closely guarded secrets and perfumes were blended by Master
Parfumiers. Abdulaziz and Adel recognize that today, in the 21st century, perfumes have evolved
to become a defining part of the luxury lifestyle, and are seen as unique statements of status,
intimacy and refinement. Thanks to increasing customer loyalty over the years, Dar Alteeb is
now an integral part of the luxury lifestyle of the affluent, discerning consumer and is set to
extend its popularity globally, over the next years.
The Creative Process

Dar Alteeb fragrances are created from international collaborations with only the best perfume
laboratories from all over the world, including those in France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland,
Turkey and The Netherlands. In Asia, Dar Alteeb works with top perfumes laboratories in Thailand,
Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka.
All fragrance manufacturing centres follow the strict standards implemented by the global
organization International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Founded in Geneva Switzerland in 1973
IFRA promotes the safe production of perfumes and perfumed oils among all its members.
Due to its diverse range Dar Alteebs client-base reaches all those who appreciate fine perfumes:
men and women of ages, all walks of life and from all cultures.

Each perfume in the Dar Alteeb Fragrance lines has its own unique character that comes from

Floral bouquets are found in ingredients such as classic rose, gardenia, lilac, patchouli and
jasmine, while darker and more mysterious aromatic influencers are also used such as the much
