“PEAK TALENT SHOW”

Talent comes in different forms, so PTS will be creating room for

various act of creative and entertaining talents in such a way
that every gifted and talented entertainers will be accommodated
within a given space to excel.

When one is talented there is only one wish that comes to mind
that is a platform to exhibit such God given talent. Now PTS is
providing this great opportunity on a platter of gold.

Our format will be treated with spectacle and excitement for

utmost entertainment quality. There would be phases of screening
auditions and this will be packaged in three classified selection
processes.

I will like to classify the selection process into three major

phases;

(I) The general Audition

(II) The categorized screening phase
(III) The mixed talents screening process.

The GENERAL audition” a.k.a (“it’s in you” stage), gives us the

opportunity to recognize and select those outstanding talents

from each region (if its regional) Having done this, we can now

categorize these talents into classes of MUSIC (singing,

drumming, chanting ,rapping e.t.c), DANCE (Stunting, Breaking,

acrobat, chorography, e.t.c ) ALTERNATIVE TALENTS (acting,

comedy, pantomime and other unusual form of entertainment)

The CATEGORIZED screening brings us closer to the best from each

class of talents. Here we can actually identify those talents
that can project and exude the peak values in their classified
group. At this stage we would have selected the “peak of the
pack” talents.

The third phase which is The MIXED TALENTS task screening will
avail us the opportunity to experiment and equally allow the
different forms of selected talents to blend together in
activities and performance challenges. It is meant to enrich our
contents and also expose and encourage the marriage of two or
more different special talents within a given performance. The
fun and interesting part of this is that it will allow these
talents to understand the spirit of total entertainment and team
spirit.

These three screening phases therefore has the ultimate tendency

to bring us very close to the next most outstanding peak talent
of the season.

STORY ANGLES

Contestants

The contestants will definitely troupe out in their hundreds

(having heard or seen the promo for the show); our duty is to
carefully organize these contestants for interviews, b-rolls and
performances. They would also be directed to grant heartfelt
interview, shout outs, burst a move and post for photographic
session.

Characters

This is our first objective, to find characters, to find people,

to find artistes, to find clowns, actors, entertainers and all
round character. As we get to every region we will be on a
painstaking search for these people among the contestants so that
we can build them into different stories for each episode.

Photographic background

Here we got to create a sort of photographic background where

contestants do a kind of post for the camera in different
postures and styles. Especially, those with interesting and funny
hairstyles, costumes, make up and props.

We could use a fish eye lens to capture these particular

activities to give it a seeming look.
Front of the House.

Here our camera get to capture shout outs , b-rolls, sound

bites, and other interesting pre-audition activities (in a case
where these activities are not happening as expected we might
need to prompt some and stage some for TV) We can create montages
of contestants making faces to the camera, bursting moves and
granting quick vox pop. In addition to the excitement around this
area; we can create a tongue twister game to be anchored by our
presenter for the contestants in other to ease the tension before
audition.

The tongue twister could be to say this phrase “peak tin milk-
peak sachet milk” five times without babbling.

Performances

Performances will be covered in detail so we can edit them into

overwhelmingly entertaining episode.

Judges

Our judges will have a special task of judging the contestants

with excitement and high spirit.

They must be credible; witty, loving and humorous as the

situation dictates.

Back Stage

Our backstage activities will also contribute to our table of

content. Here we will have various off stage activities and
interviews. Every contestant goes in and out through this door.
Some will jubilate or otherwise after they have been judged.

So, our camera crew backstage covers all the emotions surrounding
the backstage. There has to be some sort of branding to demarcate
this area.

Host City

The host city is crucial in terms of road network, time lapse

city scape, monuments, market spots and the establishment shots
of the venue and city as a whole.
MUSIC AND SOUND

Music will be creatively designed to drive our stories, to create

mood and tempo, and to intensify the actions of our contestants.
Music and sound will be carefully designed for every frame and
action.
