Assignment 1: Q1. Draw The Timing Diagram For The 8085 Instruction Assigned To Each Student (Refer To

This document contains instructions for two assignments regarding the 8085 microprocessor. Assignment 1 asks students to draw the timing diagram for their assigned 8085 instruction, mentioning relevant signals. Assignment 2 asks students to draw the circuit for interfacing memory/IO devices with the 8085 microprocessor using specific decoders depending on if it is for memory, input, or output instructions.

Assignment 1

Q1. Draw the timing diagram for the 8085 instruction assigned to each student (refer to:
ee2003.pdf -> Question 1 ). Mention the relevant signals in your timing diagram, like, A15-A8 ,
AD7-AD0, ALE, IO / M , RD , WR , MEMR , MEMW , IOR , IOW and so on.

Q2. Draw the circuit for interfacing memory/IO device with 8085 microprocessor ( refer to:
ee2003.pdf -> Question 2 to check the assigned problem).

Instructions:
1. For memory interfacing, use 3 to 8 decoder with two active low enable, and one active high
enable.
2. For all IN instructions, use 2 to 4 decoder with one active high and one active low enable.
3. For all OUT instructions, use 4 to 16 decoder with only one active high enable.
