Utility Advantages of the AB trip unit


line AB or b Controls the power drawn with respect to contractual power levels. If the contractual level is
standard overrun, the circuit breaker opens and the consumer is not billed excess costs.
service- b If a short-circuit occurs, the circuit breaker opens and the upstream HRC fuses on utility lines
