What do they do?

They provide transportation for passengers and/or cargo for long-haul flights or
for short-haul flights. The plane is usually flown by two pilots, the Pilot in
Command (PIC), and the First Officer (FO).
What to learn

Math - Understand distances and measurements at a moments notice


Solid speaking skills - Communication with passengers, air traffic
controllers, flight attendants, and other pilots
Master the computer - Need to be familiar with computer programs and
automated instruments
