Portrait Photography

Portrait photography involves taking photos of people that capture their personality and expression. Good lighting is essential for a high quality portrait. A basic lighting setup uses a main light, like a window, and a secondary light or reflector. When posing subjects, photographers should angle the subject away from the camera slightly and distribute their weight to portray them naturally.
