    Ingress protection testing is used to determine if a products exterior case or enclosure will protect
    the working parts from water, dust or intrusion. When foreign particles get inside a product, they
    can cause damage and poor performance. Ingress protection testing, or IP testing, should be
    performed at an accredited test laboratory.
