PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION SCRIPT

QUE SCRIPT ACTION/REMARKS

CALL OUT Ladies and gentlemen.


Please take your seat and comfortable yourself since we are
going to begin our Public Speaking Competition.

This is some safety reminder.

For your information, we are at school hall.

At this time, we request that all mobile phones, be turned off


or silent during the competition, as these items might distract
our contestant.

We remind you that this is a non-smoking room. Smoking


is prohibited at all area of this school.

We also remind you may follow the directions shown outside


if you want to go to toilet.

WELCOME The Honourable judges, Miss Veronica from PPD Sibu as our
ADDRESS Chief Judge, Madam Ting Siew Ping from SMK Chung Hua,
and Madam Lau Hie Poh from PPD Sibu, ladies and
gentlemen.

We would like to welcome all of you to the Sibu Division Zon


6, Public Speaking Competition 2015.

A very good morning to everyone and welcome to SJK Ek


INTRODUCTION Thei. We would like to say welcome to all of you. So please
sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of the morning.

I am Madam Tiong Siew Ming and I am Madam Mary Lau.


We had been given the task by our dear headmaster to be
your emcee for this morning. We thank you all for gracing
this occasion.

We are delighted to welcome every participant to our school,


and extend the warmest welcome to those who have traveled
from distance. I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude
for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a
pleasure to have you all today.

Yes, and we are very honoured and happy to welcome you all
to the Sibu Division Zon 6 inter school public speaking
competition 2015 today. The aim of competition is to
promote, support and develop the skills of public speaking in
schools.

For your information, there are 6 schools altogether who


participate in this year public speaking competition.

Without further due, let us welcome our dear headmaster, Mr


Ngu Seng Mee to give his speech.
