Cloudless and There Is A Carpet of Multicoloured Leaves On The Ground
There are four seasons in a year winter, spring, summer When the sun is shining, way up high
and autumn. I feel so happy, I could fly!
When the wind is blowing all about
2. Every season consists of 3 months. Im angry and I scream and shout!
When its raining and the sky is grey
3. December, January and February are Im sad and blue, I cry all day!
________________months. When thunderstorms are crashing outside
Im scared and theres nowhere to hide!
March, April and Mays are _______________months. But when its snowing and everythings white
Then my life is magic and bright!
Children especially love June, July and August, because they
are ________________months.
7. The Sun raises and sets early, the air is frosty and the streets are slippery.
8. It is not very pleasant to go outdoors when the weather is freezing cold, but children (my friends and I) enjoy
throwing snowballs, making snowman, sledging, skiing and ice-skating when winter is snowy.
9. By the end of the winter the snow begins to melt, the Sun grows warmer and the rivers are in flood.
10. Nature awakens from its long winter sleep and here spring comes.
11. The trees begin to bud, the new grass comes up and flowers begin to blossom.
13. After spring comes summer. Children (I) adore summer because they (I) have their(my) holidays and enjoy
resting after a hard work.
14. I can relax in summer. I/my family/my friend(s) enjoy(s) waterskiing/ windsurfing/scuba diving/sailing and
swimming in the lake/sea/ocean/pond.
15. The weather is mostly sunny and nice, but even when it is rainy the air is fresh and warm.
17. But there is a spell of sunny weather in late September, which we call Indian summer, when the sky is
cloudless and there is a carpet of multicoloured leaves on the ground.
In winter the sun sets early, the air is frosty and the streets are slippery. People wear fur
coats, high boots, woolen hats, scarves and gloves. It is not very pleasant to go outdoors
when the weather is freezing cold, but my friends and I enjoy throwing snowballs, making
snowmen, sledging, skiing and ice-skating when winter is snowy.
By the end of winter the snow begins to melt, the sun grows warmer and the rivers are in
flood. Nature awakens from its long winter sleep and here spring comes. The trees begin
to bud, the new grass comes up and flowers begin to blossom. We take our jackets,
cardigans and shoes out of wardrobes. April showers bring May flowers as the saying
goes.
Summer comes after spring. I adore summer because schoolchildren have their holidays. I
can relax in summer. My family and I enjoy swimming in the swimming pool. The
weather is usually sunny and nice, but even when it is rainy the air is fresh and warm.
Everybody wears light clothes and sandals. Girls wear their bright dresses, skirts and tops;
boys prefer wearing shorts and T-shirts.
Autumn is a rainy season and the weather is dull. It is a season of raincoats and umbrellas.
But there is a spell of sunny weather in late September, which we call Indian summer,
when the sky is cloudless and there is a carpet of multicoloured leaves on the ground.
I must confess, I dont like autumn because it often rains and I have to spend all my free
time at home. My favourite season is winter. Just listen to this poem:
