Functions of the SPUa Board


Loaded with different software, the SPUa board is functionally divided into main control SPUa board and
non-main control SPUa board. The main control SPUa board is used to manage the UMTS user plane
resources, control plane resources, and transmission resources in the system and process the UMTS
services on the control plane. The non-main control SPUa board is used to process the UMTS services
on the control plane.
