Introduction

It is a simple event that includes two activities, watch movie related to IT knowledge and BBQ
activity. Participating students will get to know more about technology nowadays after
watching the movie, named The Circle. Students also have a chance to relax and have fun
through participating our BBQ events. Students will learn more about the knowledge that was
not in the book such as planning skills, organizing skills and leadership.

Our main objective is to increase participating students interest and knowledge about IT. We
would like to encourage our group members to study IT subject after getting interest about IT
through our activity which is watch a movie related to IT. Besides, we would also like to give
an opportunity to participating students to get into outdoors gathering such as BBQ activity.
We also help students to develop teamwork among their group members, well task delegation
skills, innovative and creative mindset among themselves.

3Is Concept:

Innovative - From the movie we watched, The Circle, we learned to be innovative. The
movie is about a girl, Mae Holland, rises through company's ranks, and is selected for an
assignment with the Circle's newest technology which she eagerly takes on. Soon she finds
herself in a perilous situation concerning privacy, surveillance, and freedom. Mae comes to
learn that her decisions and actions will determine the future of humanity.

Individualization - This is a structured personal development project involving event plans

(BBQ, watch movie) to help us to attain our academic and career goals.

Ingenious - Throughout this project, we learned to be ingenious to overcome the limited

budget for BBQ and movie, the venue, and the date and time.

At the end of the activity:

1. Student will be interested with IT subject.

2. Student will be able to increase the basic knowledge of IT.
3. Student will experience the process of teamworking, delegating task, and solving problem
by creative thinking.

PROJECT FLOW
23th of MAY - Our first meeting We meet at library at 10 am and we
determine everyones position. Our
group leader, Yong Zi Wei takes a
position as a chairperson of this event.
24th of MAY - Our second meeting Firstly, we had determined the venue
and the date we organize the event and
make sure that everyone can attend. We
discussed what is the purpose of this
event and what we wished to achieve
after this event. We also arrange the
project timeline to ensure everything is
going smooth. Lastly, we made a
proposed budget to ensure we have
enough money to carry on this event.
25th of MAY - Our third meeting Our president delegates all the works
equally to our group members and we
discussed about what are the
difficulties and challenges we may
face. Therefore, we had think some
methods to solve these problems.
26th of MAY - Our last meeting This meeting is for ensuring everyone
prepare well for this event and we
make sure that all the details of this
event is understanding by every group
members.

our team.

suggesting solutions. The solutions you suggested helped solving our problems.

for creating a stronger bond between us (7 DWARFS).

participation is enough for us already.
9. Thank you to Soon Seng for concluding this proposal and placing the order of the
movie tickets, The Circle. Your bravery in doing so, impress all of us. Being the quiet
one, but still able to do such impressive stuff us.

Difficulties and Challenges

Our group actually met many difficulties and challenges in this activity. For the first thing,
we have to tolerate with everyones time. Since this is a group activity and we hope that
everyone can join this event. Therefore, we had tried our best to arrange a time that everyone
can attend. Eventually, we all are free on Wednesday and able to enjoy this event. Secondly,
we also contribute different opinion during decision making. We had tried our best to choose
the best solution to overcome those problem. Luckily, no argument happened among us. Last
but not least, we also meet some difficulties during the bbq event. This is due to the reason
that this is the first time for majority of us organizing bbq event by ourselves. We all are lack
of experience doing this event. Therefore, we much appreciate people from others group and
Leas family members for helping us throughout the event. I believe that this event isnt
complete if everyone is bias and not willing to each other. Luckily, we have overcome all the
difficulties and challenges because all the group members are willing to contribute their time,
effort, opinion and money.

Analysis Expenditure
As shown as above, our budget total is RM 440.00, but we only had expenditure total RM
236.55. First of all, we spent the same amount of money for movie tickets, that cost RM
105.00. However, all of us already took our meal individually so we skipped breakfast and
lunch. Because of this, we had saved RM105.00. Secondly, the original budget of apparatus
and material is RM 200.00, but our group member had brought her own materials so we just
need to pay RM 131.55 for the same materials. Last but not least, our budget of transport is
RM 30.00, and we decided transport to BBQ destination and Sunway Pyramid by riding our
group members car to save RM30.00. As conclusion, we had saved RM203.45 from our
budget.

Conclusion
We organize this event is to increase participating students interest and knowledge about IT.
Besides, we let students know how to cooperate among each other in efficient and effectively
way. Additionally, this event helps student to communicate better with each other and
understand each other difficulties. By doing this event, students would also appreciate each
other works. Most important, we hope that lecturer will approved our proposal to organize
this BBQ event and watch IT movie activity. Your approval is highly appreciated and
desired.
